My concern for the Monday bank holiday football legends game

    Game is definitely postponed. I received a phone call earlier today that due to threats made on twitter the game has had to be postponed.

    Great shame.. disabled kids suffering cos of idiots..

    Why?? IMO it had to be made. Rovers fans will be rightly distraught and a minority looking for a fight.

    No I'm not questioning the reason, just shocked that people would even contemplate causing trouble at a charity for life shortening illnesses in children.
    Having lost a child, and my cousin I'm just shocked.

    It's the right decision. Regardless of any idiot involvement, I reckon the gate will suffer because of yesterday's events - many will just not want to go down the Mem, families will be wary of the potential for trouble.

    There's no point in the charities suffering because of our relegation. It's a postponement, so the event will be rescheduled and the charities will benefit more than if it were played now. <ok>

    Yes this is true, the gate would have been shocking with what happened yesterday, they are looking for an early June arrangement, I hope with clear heads we can all get along for the day..

    I heard their was another Legends match at Nailsea this friday 9th May,but not sure if its going ahead.
