FFC Madness, I thought we were Fulham supporters, so that gives a clue to the reception we should be giving. I see no reason to sack Magarth but yes there were a couple of odd selections, Burn and Bent but it became obvious that overall our team isn't good enough. We can aim blame but should we not just move on to a new season with realistic aims. There is much to do and change, but we have a manager of impeccable reputation and a youth policy that can recharge the team. We also have some player that we need to keep for experience and most of all ability. It's been a hard season to hang in there with hope and expectations rising and falling from month to month, but we need some stability now, so lets at least stick with the man in charge and see what players are going to stay to rebuild the team we all support. Chin up and get on with it, as my Dad would have said.
Actually, it's a relief that the forlorn hope has expired. Last week vs Hull was so noisy, until we threw it away, and then silence. Against Palace, we have nothing to lose - its the last day in the Prem, so what's not to enjoy? #SingLoud !!! COYW!
Just to clarify. We are Fulham supporters and as such we were singing today at Stoke. Personally I will not applaud the current squad. Simple as that. What got me today was the lack of commitment. It was painful! 3000 fans were treated with disrespect. I would like Magath to drop the majority of them and field the players who want to be there. Not that he is not partially responsible. That's another story... Btw, John Pantsil posted in his Facebook page that he heart is bleeding today and that Fulham fans deserve better. Legend!
A simple word can be attached to the majority of players who donned a FFC shirt this season P..S takers,i certainly will not be cheering next week, but I would like to see the majority of fans staying behind at the end of the match pledging their future to our club and deriding the players leaving, hopefully never to return.
Screw those players. We should make a point by chanting for those players we want to stay - namely players like Roberts, Dembele, Woodrow etc. We should just ignore the players who are leaving, with the exception of Damien Duff who was an excellent player for us.
My list of players that I would like to keep are: Dejagah, Sidders, Heitinga, Richardson of late, Kasami, Burn, Mitroglou, maybe Diarra... That's it. Also Amorebieta will be good for Champioship as he is tough. Potentially Kvist too. The rest can go.
Heitinga is not staying. I'd be surprised if we keep Dejagah (despite his talent) and I don't really see us paying the fee for Kvist. I'd definitely keep Richardson & Burn. Eh, this summer is going to be chaotic.
Me too. I've been quite resigned to our fate since Norwich last week, but MOTD just depressing. But have to be more upbeat for next Sunday.
Most disturbing thing I saw on MoTD was those guys crying. We've been relegated. No one has died because of it as far as I know. So we play in a different league next year, so what? We weren't good enough for this one this year, but next year who knows? Crying because our football team's been relegated, for ****'s sake. Man up, your'e not seven.
Depends on who Felix selects. It's going to be difficult to generate a good atmosphere and who knows what options will be avalable to him come Saturday. However, there are certain players who for their own good would be best left out. Maybe this is one time when he should tune in to the fans and let 'social media' do the selecting. Then we'll have nobody to blame.
Nothing wrong with that... People let steam off in different ways. Who's reaction do you prefer? Stockdale's or tosser Bent?
Magrath has made mistakes, but he's never had the chance to bring in his own players, he's had to make do with what he inherited. It's not fair to judge him on how he did with other people's misjudgements. If he says he wants to stay, I'd let him rebuild and try to get us back up. He knows better than someone from outside who is worth keeping and which youngsters to promote.
Stoke fan in peace, I just wanted to say good luck to you for next season im sure you will bounce back. The prem wont be the same without fulham in it. Im sure you will be back in the next 2 years. The only thing about yesterday that I didnt get was that your players didnt show much fight, maybe they had already accepted their fate?. Keep your chins up lads you will bounce back
I wasn't sure where to post this, but Stocky looks like he feels the same way we do.
For someone who would have just cause to be indifferent, he does indeed look to be genuinely hurting, and to say he loves the club is admirable. One of the few bright spots in our season. We love you Stocko!
