Im with you all the way Gendros I have been a fan for over 56yrs we both have seen all this before. I also agree with what Project as said since we won the League Cup we seem to have gone downhill,Im glad G M saved us from going down and we get one more season in the prem but could this be our last season in the prem, We all know what Jenkins is like a tight sod if we are in the bottom 3 by oct is he going to bring in a manager who knows what he is doing .or is he and the board going to let us go down rather than spend some of the money we will get from the players who are going to leave us at the end of the season , I for one and most of you swansea Jacks would not like that for sure .Monk for me is not the right man for the job there will one big uproar from the suporters get rid of the Board and Jenkins we all know he likes money and I dont think he would like to lose millions which is what will happen should we go down lets hope we are not in that position .

    Delusion, so.....

Does ML averaging a point per game this season, up until his sacking count as delusional?
Does ML's point average giving a basic look of 38 points come end of season, count as delusional?
Does Monks record of 15 points in 13 games count as delusional?
Does ML's record of 14 poitns in those reverse fixtures, count as delusional?
Does the fact that Monk played 5 bottom half teams at home, compared to ML's 2 count as delusional?
Does stating the fact that we were robbed 2 points from the home game against stoke count as delusional?

Please answer thse questions if you could be so kind. And if any are answered yes, please expand...I have a feeling you won't bother, so won't hold my breath. Because lets face it, the fact you think I am delusional when all I posted up was facts or rational opinions (point per game average = 38, being that example - along with the rational opinion that we were robbed of the 2 points at home to stoke after that ludicrous penalty call), goes to show the only delusional one here, is your good self ;)

Like I've said in the past , the Laudrup sacking is one of the stupidest actions in Premier League history. That being said , it has nothing to do with Monk . Now that the boards error is over , Monk is our manager and should be supported . I do have reservations that Monks being our manager might be another huge error by the board but it is what it is . We are going into our 4th season of top flight , lets try to enjoy it .

I selected just a small collection from an ocean worth of content which you are free to search through. I asked for your quotes from reputable sources like roofjack and sterio but don't see them. And this is not about me being a Monk fanboy, that is not the case nor the issue. The issue is people cannot see Laudrup was relegating us, they bleat about him not having Canas, Poz, Michu and others injuries. Monk has that issue as well as Canas, Poz and Michu don't play and if that is because of differing reasons then it is besides the point. What we know is Monk also Dyer out and Rangel. But without the Spanish three the team has looked better.

The club is in safer hands now than it was with Laudrup on board, and one look at his managerial history and it becomes clear he is his own worst enemy. Only with a small club in a small league has he cut the mustard. Everywhere he goes now ends with him either quitting or being sacked with no evidence of a turnaround. Even if Canas and Poz came back they haven't shown enough to save us from that disatrous form, and his insistence to choose strikers who fire blanks cost us goals which are crucial to winning games.

It was nice when it going rosy but he seems to sink his own ship every time. It was no exception at our club. For his sake I hope he uses his experience in management thus far to learn to tow the line drawn out by board at his next club.

I don't think anyone really can say anything against Laudrup until there is an official statement. Because all we know is gossip at the moment! And any intelligent person knows not to listen to gossip as majority of gossip is fabricated!

All Ive ever said about Poz is he played in more games than any player under Laudrup , he hasn't played since . It just shows how personal things are with the club , not a good thing. I heard Dyer and Monk had words a while back , Dyer has only started 1 out of the last 7 games . As gendrosjack says , Monk has alienated players . Imagine being a player and fighting at practice with other players ....then your made manager lol . Laudrup had a tough time in a hard shedule and with many injuries and did so so....Monk had an easier shedule and a healthy team and did so so.....bit of a difference imo

Can you be 100% sure about that?

I will support the team, which includes the manager and coach etc, as long as I live; but I don't have to like a situation, the actions of the board or the way people are treated. Yesterday the chants in favour of Garry were pound and clear the mutterings outside weren't.
The past is great to look back on and enjoy (even the bad bits!) but we only have the future ahead of us and if it looks like someone or something will adversely affect us, as fans we should point this out.

Thats a good point bob but It wouldn't .take much to sway Huw after all the **** Jenkins did to Laudrup already and a bit of proof would be nice that Garry was trying to get Laudrup sacked before pointing fingers .

Michael Laudrup's next club could be Ajax, Gary Monks next job will be using ajax!

Maybe, maybe not Laudrup was a mismatch with Swansea.

    It's not the point here:

Monk is a worse solution. Swansea will save money in the short term, but the CERTAIN relegation he will cause over the next season will prove a lot costlier.

Appointing Monk is another sign of the boards ineptitude, hunger for power and lack of class...

Perhaps the Board have let a little whisper out to whichever rag it is and are waiting to see what the response is like before they hire him or boot him.

Monk has hired Dai as his PR outlet in a desperate bid to seed the FACTS of his non-performance and spin positively. Looks like he is going with the loud and "proud" option and the usual tactic of ad hominem attacks against all dissenters. His protege's blunder in the last minute yesterday is causing some embarrassment and sauces are stating that Monk's behind the doors admonishment after the game that he tackles like a girl has caused an almost irreparable rift and Chico had to grab and wield a brick to restore calm. Canas was last heard laughing his arse off.
