City and Chelsea will snap him up in a year of two for upwards of 30million and he'll waste away his career there like so many others have done. If he wants to move and continue his career, he'd look no further than United or Liverpool - but there may be, erm, problems with that. Not too bothered, we've got some exciting players of our own coming through and there are others abroad who won't cost the British fee.
fair enough tobes, just please give me a sensible answer why you think that, personally i think it will be the value you will put on him.
For the England team Barkley would be better at Everton. To often exciting top players move to big club, get lost in a big squad and fail to reach their potential.
Its ok for you guys to do that when failing to discredit Mourinho though? Gotcha..... Come on guys, step it up. Luvs pissed andhes better than you guys at this still. Pull yourselves together ffs.
you are trying to give reasons why an everton player will not want to join our club, and i have just shown you why they may see it as a good move ie european cup finals as well as domestic ones, all you have done is now used a dif argument and side tracked. and the irony of discrediting mourinhio after you comments about rafa, what are they? morons was it!
So because Nick Barmby did it, all Everton players will do it? sounds like your disrespecting Everton to me. Put it tgis way, your way way down the list of clubs he would even consider joining. If he wants to stay local, he joins United. Hes seen the last chap to do so and he did a damn sight better that Barmby did at Liverpool. If he wants to leave the area he has Chelsea to consider.
Its a shame Roy Hodgson's flat tactics will restrict ever one of these exciting young players we have.
Barkley would never go to Liverpool, as he's a life long Everton supporter. If he continues to improve then he'll no doubt end up with us or City, maybe even Chelsea if he'd move down to London. But there's no way he'll go to Liverpool, nor would Everton sell him to you
i am disrespecting everton? how so! by showing what we have done in the 8 yrs or so you mention compared to them, and as a player that wouldn't interest you? what a load of ****e, its you disrespecting us and you know it you ffs! i think the money will be the reason it wont happen, not the ****e you are trying to spout.
You believe that but no that everyone is laughing at the notion they would sell to Liverpool. Deluded beyond belief.
It's all he can do! It will be even worse from now on as his side can't even be regarded as flat track bullies from here on in.
There was a rumour on one of the rags a few months ago that Rodgers was lining up to sign him... (that's why I keep refering to him as "future Liverpool player"... that, and to wind up the toffees...). I'm sure all stupid made up crap. I think he would come to us if we bid enough that Everton sold him... plenty of former toffees have made the step up to Liverpool before.
please log in to view this image Perhaps you could take Rooney off our hands too? Im sure Barcelona will sell Messi seeing as its Liverpool and well, expectations and all that. Funny how upset you are though. Maybe if you lived with the rest of us in the real world....
So what this winds down to, is that no one here has a ****ing clue what Barkley would do or where he would go. No one knows him, no one knows anything about him. It's all pointless conjecture, guessing and assumptions (probably with a lot of hoping too) just because he's a boyhood blue. So for all this "he would never", you're all chatting ****. It's 'unlikely', sure, but it's moves between rival clubs have happened in the past so you can't rule it out so definitively. Great discussion, morons.
Barkley is a great prospect but you're talking about spending £30m based on ONE season performance? Liverpool have players, either individually or collectively, in midfield who can do what Barkley does. If Liverpool want to buy an Everton player I'd go for Mirallas instead - he's been just as impressive (if not more) on the wing, or Coleman at RB - far more needed positions for Liverpool. Personally, I think you have to balance Barkley's performances with the team as a whole. He seems to be having the spotlight but there have been much needed consistent team performances from those around him. Mirallas and Coleman as mentioned, but also Barry, Osman, Baines, even McCarthy and Naismith. Added to that Lukaku who has gelled very well within that collective attack. If Lukaku does leave it will be interesting to see how the rest of that Everton side cope.
