It seems that I keep coming on here each week and each time saying "Well done" before popping back next door.

Another cracking result for your lot today and I am really, really pleased that it looks like you're staying up. The North East really needs something to shout about in the football world and this season it's your escape which, I have to say, was against the odds a couple of times. But your lot have shown passion, grit and backbone and certainly deserve to be in the top flight.

It may well be more or less over tomorrow evening if Norwich come unstuck at Chelsea. I do hope you stay up as do a good number of people on our board who manage to walk five yards without scraping our knuckles in the dust.

Again, well done and I hope to say it at least once more this season.

 

You're right! We have pulled off a miracle these last 4 games! Cant get the thought out of my head that Norwich might do the same!!!! Surely they cant pick up 4 points minimum from Chelsea and Arsenal, can they????? Whilst they hope that we **** up against WBA & Swansea???? Surely not! But after our recent escapades, anything is possible!

Not really. I'm a football fan. I don't go in for the nonsense of "I don't like your town because your lot fought against our lot in the English Civil War". I just love proper football and happen to have my team as the crowd next door and I'll be the first to say Well Done to any team who deserve it and, let's face it, Sunderland do.

Thanks for that, it was something that not many of us saw coming and our hopes for points were mainly the Cardiff, WBA and Swans games. We don't need them as much now and can enjoy those two games.

Good luck in the FA cup final and remember Wigan last season and a few more further back.

 

Totally exhilarating Vince and going from hopeless to a team playing football, which I somehow only recently realised we haven't done very often in the last 10 years. Fantastic season if it finishes as we all think it will. Wish I'd been around for the cup but this is also legendary
