Mike Ashley certainly does not have "skin like a rhino". The only time he has communicated with the fans is when he whined like a spoilt little girl about the 'death threats' he'd been receiving (after the protest at the Hull game some time back).

Despite all the money he is making off the backs of NUFC it would not take as much as you think to make his life so unpleasant he'd be forced to cut his losses, sell up, and get out of town.

Geordies in the 1930s made things so tough for Mosley's blackshirts they couldn't hold a public meeting for fear of violence. Surely they can deal with one fat southern toe rag?

 

There was good coverage of the 69 min walkout with quite a few leaving. Lot of Anti Pardew chants prior which was also covered by the camera's. He looked frightened to leave his seat with the hatred shown towards him.
Just leave and do us all a favour.

I'm sure Ashley's happy where you have finished,he will never buy the 20 million plus players to take you to the next level. Mid Table is it. or relegation battles. Who with quality would sign ? Even (average) Remy wants away. No one of that calibre wants to live in the North East,

 

I think times have changed. I'm not convinced he is bothered. As you say he got a few death threats, what was his reaction? Dug in deeper and set off on the current course of hard nose money making. Being honest, can you ever see a full scale uprising? You'll be lucky if 20% joined in today, which means there are clearly a lot of hearts and minds to be won, which will take a long long time.

At some point he'll sell up, I just think it will be of his own volition.

 

Don't be so focused on percentages, mate. If Churchill had done that in 1940, he would have been well and truly screwed, given the state of public opinion at the time.

It's the hard core that counts, and today the public demonstration of their wishes demonstrates that life cannot continue as normal for Pardew and his puppetmaster, Ashley.

There is an opportunity here; we have only to grasp it.
