And the linesman was watching it from two feet away.

Cattermole was rightly outraged, he wouldn't have waited for the card before walking.

Definite red card at the end. No different to Wes Browns against Norwich. As you say, made worse by the fact that he should have been booked in the first half from 2 identical challenges. One of the most biased, one-sided refereeing performances I've ever seen.

Vidic should have been booked earlier fom persistently going through the back of the man. Shocking he stayed on the pitch.

Apart from the red card, I thought Webb had a pretty decent game. Couple of tackles from behind that coulda been punished, but i think he was just wanting to let it flow. Wasnt the usual red devil shirt wearing Webb i thought we would see tonight.

How Vidic avoided a red card is disgraceful.

Definite red imo. Wasn't he last man aswell? Wasn't a goal scoring chance, but nevertheless. Webb had a good game for me, but that was one of the glaring moments he messed up.

Congrats on staying up lads, true team spirit from your boys. Fully deserved win today as well. I have heard a few "Theories" on us throwing the game after the Spurs defeat to avoid Europa Qualification but I'm not buying them, we always play to win at Old Trafford so I can't accept that we played for a draw or a loss.

Vidic isn't up to the pace of this league any longer that's why he's going to Italy next season to prolong his career. He is a living legend to me so I'm not going to say any more!

It's nice to see a welsh team disappear even though it's Ole's team, I hope he leaves that awful owner, he won't succeed under him, it's also nice to see the back of Fulham who have been the most dull team consistently for 12 years, poor ownership again and pathetic manager.

I would like to finish the season with a home win for Nemanja against Hull, but apart from that I'm just glad it's coming to an end. I'm sure you lot will be having a celebratory drink or two but spare a thought for Steven Gerrard at some point if you will.

You brought another good crowd today, always do.

That's all from me for a few days, have a great weekend and enjoy your victory!

Must admit I was glad to see the centre back pairing as both of them are well past it for pace especially. Vidic slowed Wickham down with his first half foul but was struggling badly against the more mobile Altidore. I was even more pleased when Mata was taken off as he was beginning to give us the run around.
