Today and Tuesday were/are matches for Bruce, Quinn, Koren and Boyd to start. Should have given Davies, Thudd, Livermore and Meyler a well deserved rest and get them back in against Everton to sharpen them up for the cup final. We are going to rock up at Wembley very weary unless SB uses his squad.

What the **** is he training to be a divot for at this stage of the season.

On a less serious note, we were **** today. They wanted it much more.

The real disappointment was that we got back in the game, looked like we could go on to boss it, then threw it away.

Pretty sure that if Norwich don't win tomorrow, then Bruce will make wholesale changes for Man Utd and Everton.

I don't suppose for a moment he will be reading this forum (or any others) to check if he's doing the right thing.

Not going to read all the **** on the thread. Was a **** feed in pub too. But we were **** today. Villa picked up all the loose ball in midfield. Be interesting to see what those who went today thought but its a struggle for MOTM. Piss poor defence, weak midfield and islotaed forwards.

With Aluko a major doubt then we won't be risking Fryatt or Sagbo in the next 2 games. Bruce Jnr and Faye in contention to take over from Chezz?

I was gutted, I feel robbed of money and time.

They had Graham Taylor on BBC wm after the game and he said after their 2nd went in our players just lacked effort and desire, a lack of professionalism and responsibility he called it, he said no team should ever play so half arsed and it's the players responsibility to actually put in the performance they're paid to do not the managers.

It was the same conclusion I drew and I bumped into a mate (villa fan) outside the game who also said the same thing.

I think all who went deserve a refund because that wasn't just abysmal it was disgusting. 3-1 down and not even trying to score or make a game of it, just passing it around the back waiting for the game to finish.

Geez...How glad I am I never paid £39 to watch that...It sounded X rated on the radio...

Bruce must have read them the riot act at F/T ...Still we'd have taken this at the beginning of the season....SURVIVAL, FA Cup Final, and Europe.....Therefore no real need to fret...

Unfortunately I paid the £39, worst game and equally disappointingly least effort this season. 17th for us this season based on today. Bl**dy awful. Absolutely nobody covered themselves in glory today.

Not the right thread but this Everton Man city game. FFS Naismith does a pathetic dive and the ref cuddles him!!!! **** off. Then a long delay for Dzeko. Just play on FFS andleave him on the deck.

Didn't follow the match thread today and cba to read back through it all.

Did anyone make a **** of themselves? Screeching ****e at the players? Did anyone call Bruce a "thick fat ****" or Jelavic a "donkey"?

    Don't know but here's one.

The ****ing donkey with that chance around 60 minutes. It was a total sitter on a plate, gift wrapped and tied in pretty ribbons.... All he had to do was make contact with the ball and it was in, and we were back in the game... What does he do?

Kick thin ****ing air <laugh> <doh>

At least he tried though, which is a lot more than can be said of others in that team today.
