Lee Clark will claim he is some sort of managerial God for preventing relegation by goal difference to Doncaster now.
So, in the space of a year, Donny have gone from going up in the last minute to going down in the last minute...
Soccer Guy ‏@usasoccerguy: Overtime equalization for the Birmingham Blues saves their asses! That guy from one dimension will be real mad right now. #thisaintalabama
Probably, like most people, I’m not that fussed but within that, natural preference does emerge. After hearing that Pearce had been appointed Forest manager for the summer I wanted them to win the play offs. Pearce at Forest would have been guaranteed to take a relegation place. Glad Reading missed out. Nothing against them but even reading their name puts the shunt of all mighty boredom on my back. Plus I think Adkins is over rated – I find him a bit weird – like some sort of TV psychic. Wigan I also place into the utterly boring bracket – they only inspire utter indifference in me apart from Rosler sort of reminds me of the robot from Aliens these days. Don’t want QPR to go up, mainly because of the way they’ve gone about things in the last few years, rather than any flash points with us. I like Steve Mc so I’d happily see Derby up, also I don’t mind Brighton and it’d also be good to see a new fish in the top flight. So,I hope the winners of Derby v BHA make it up.
I've not seen it again but I thought he dived at the time. Really embarrassing and I feel awful for Doncaster. Probably similar to how you lot felt with Long and West Brom.
Mate of mine is a big Donny fan. Currently offering support and counselling. He's on his 7th pint and he's cried into every one. I'm making the right noises, but it's not helping and I'm, frankly, having a **** time. Advice please.
