It's a bit pathetic. That you would give up your teams progression, 3 points, and a mathematical chance of reaching the Champions League, in a season that you've impressed all with your beautiful play (compared to Moyesies Everton) - all to spite the team across the park. A team that doesn't have a traditional hatred-based rivalry with you.
By winning, they could potentially represent the city in the elite competition in Europe, gain 3 points for their team and learn how to actually play against top teams (they've done really well in this regard) next season. By losing they gain absolutely nothing except a bit of smugness in losing.
If they lose while putting up a fight I have nothing but praise for them, but if they half-heartedly go into the rest of this match, it shows a small-mindedness.
They look to be a class act at the moment right now though.
The Everton rivalry is pathetic. The hatred is all one way, and in that sense they are bitter ****s. I actually would have really liked them to get CL this year. The fact they won't support their team because we may win the title is just seriously sour of them
This performance shows why Everton will always be a small club and stars like Barkley will always look to move away![]()
Do not know which game you are watching i am watching a training session, not only are Everton not putting the effort in they are not making City work, thus keeping them fresh for their next two games.

Yes this is a meltdown cause its frustrating, as much as i dislike the Chavs they played with spirit, knowing that in all likelihood they will not win title, Everton are NOT trying, Their fans are not bothered and no points will be dropped in this game, and unfortunately the next two city games are at home and they will not drop points to either of those teams.
Its been a good season so cant grumble we blew it ourselves. Just hope the karma comes back on toffees in next few years.
Yeah... City don't really look like they want to win either... it's a really flacid game between two teams that have so much to play for- and neither team looks like they want to put any effort in to try... it's bizarre...
With Everton going for CL and City going for the title- why is neither team trying very hard?
