    Swindon Town have announced that Nile Ranger's contract with the club has been terminated with immediate effect.

    The striker was subject to a disciplinary hearing with the League One side yesterday, having been arrested on suspicion of common assault and criminal damage earlier this week.

    A statement on the club's website said: "Following on from yesterday's disciplinary meeting with Nile Ranger and his PFA representative, Swindon Town Football Club can confirm that both the Club and Nile Ranger have mutually agreed to a termination of Nile's contract with immediate effect."

    The 23-year-old joined the club on a one-year deal at the start of the season.

    Well well fancy that.

    Some people just never learn. I wonder where he'll turn up next.

    Wearing a new strip no doubt.

    I struggle to understand why we couldn't have done that earlier too.

    Just think about this. This guy had real pace, power and had the potential to be decent in the air too... He is way better than Ameobi, and if he had even a modicum of professionalism in him, he'd have been getting regular game-time here... And what's more, if he had had the mentality to match his talent, he could have been on the plane to Brazil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    And where is he now? Virtually finished as far as making money from the game is concerned.

    Not that I or anybody else will lose sleep over his wasted talent. The lad is quite clearly a vile human being.

    >JPF. Indeed, I remember the problems that he was giving the Arsenal defence in the air and I thought that we had a real talent on our hands.

    How wrong we were all proved to be. Likewise, I won't lose any sleep over such a waster. If he's still alive in twenty years time he'll wake up one morning and have an "Oh ****, what have I done?" moment.

    I don't care...

    But I think he'll end up in Pentonville Prison eventually.

    Well played Nile!

    <laugh>

    I have nothing but contempt for the stupid, jumped-up little prick.

    Anyone who chooses to waste a natural talent like that will reap nothing in life and that delights me <cheers>

    Can I request that from now on we don't waste any more space on this forum for this low-life. The term bottom feeder is thrown around a lot on here, but this guy is a real one.
