    We have some awful commentators over here, but this is something else. I feel bad for Americans, but then their commentators are often terrible in every other sport so they're probably used to seeing through it.

    It's unfortunate, because NBC has done so much right with their PL coverage. Good production values, good play-by-play guy, resisted the temptation to stick some vaguely-known American on the telecast, promoted it relentlessly. And then they turn to someone who thinks that everyone and everything is awful as the man to explain the sport. Gah.
