We've got to hope that Man Utd balls it up now, somehow. Pathetic after the **** season that they've had.
Could have got beat 6-0 today., I don't know if I should laugh or cry. absolute shambles from the outset. Anyhow Kingman should win at Newmarket (3.50) today.
What are you playing at? Utd will finish up with the EL place at this rate - unless we hand it back to you. It's yours if you want it.
A sensible result. No Europa place , thank God for that, we have no chance of winning it . Hopefully this will reinforce the eventual departure of the angry man as he is a total prick. Go Man Utd !!!
Tim's fault again. So tim told rose to leave that ball so that kaboul could make a stupid challenge and get sent off Tim told paulinho and adebayor to move out of the way if somebody kicks the ball at them Only mistake sherwood made today was playing that useless c*** paulinho. Sorry he's a brazilian international he must be good
Sherwood picked the team, trained the team and failed miserably to motivate the team. Our defending on set-pieces was appalling, we had no shape, we didn't deal with any of their tactics and we picked a side that was outplayed by 10 man Stoke, barring Chadli's omission. Everybody knows how West Ham set up. Everybody knows what their Plan A is going to be and they don't have a Plan B. Sherwood has lost to this ****, relegation struggling side twice because he simply doesn't have the nous to deal with Allardyce's simple tactics. He picked a badly organised side with no defensive strategy and it cost us, again.
Just so you know Kev, I welcome the alternative viewpoint. I don't agree with you, but it would be boring if we all thought the same thing.
No problem. Its not a personal attack on you just trying to put the point across that its not just Tim's fault. People seem to be using him as an excuse but the hard facts are the players just aren't good enough. I would be amazed if another manager could get that bunch into the top 4
Well done lads.Thats 6 points and a cup game to Arsenal and now 6 points and a cup game to West Ham.Makes you wonder if our lads are really interested sometimes doesn't it? What a crappy season overall. We could have,at least, helped poor old Fulham out!!!!!
I had thought at one stage that, in time, Sherwood might make a half decent manager - I can see now that I was wrong. There is so much wrong with his management style that it's hard to know where to begin. He produced today, not for the first time, an unbalanced, unmotivated side that were lucky not to have been humiliated by a team that are one grade up from relegation fodder. We have somehow contrived to lose 5-0 over two Premiership games to Allardyce's Spammers! Can it get any worse? He also seems either too stubbornly arrogant, or too stupid to learn from previous glaring mistakes.... Whilst we clearly don't exactly have the best squad in the Prem, we are nowhere near as bad as we have looked for large parts of this season. That's down to management and coaching.
I think we've got a good team and a very deep squad. Sherwood simply hasn't got what it takes to get them playing as a unit. We need a couple of adjustments in the summer and to keep our best players, but a manager with a plan should be able to get us playing well and winning.
Evening, folks. What delights can I look forward to on MOTD tonight (Kaboul unlucky with the red, Kane with the og etc) ??
7th place, no Europa, no Sherwood and a half decent manager? Best thing that could happen for us next season, mark my words.
It was probably a red (though part of me still wants to say that there was defensive cover). That was it for controversy - the only other thing of note was just how bad we were. I seriously think the group of people who I play with occasionally (literally jumpers for goalposts stuff) could have played better than that against West Ham.
