I agree, it will be BAE if fit and then hill at lb if he's fit. Yun has a goal and assist in what, half a dozen games while I don't think BAE has any and has also cost us goals. The reason why BAE plays because Redknapp would look stupid playing Yun over him after spending all that money on wages without giving a better player at the club a chance.
There's a great PIC on the Facebook feed of kranky holding his hands above his head and applauding so I think you might be right.
BAE no chance...But agree on Hill So Arrys will be Simpson, Ned, Dunne, Hill But my Bbck 4 would be Simpson Hill Ned YSY
Thats my back four but BAE has started every game that hes been fit, I dont see it changing now even after redknapp said he was a disappointment
That would be most of our Back Four choice but it won't be Harry's. I feel sorry for Yun, he looks a prospect all right...
Yep, I think most of us would pick that back four Beth, but I bet BAE and Dunne both start. My teams for the semis: Away.......... -----------------------------Green-------------------------- Simpson------------Onuoha---------Hill-------------------Yun --------------------Barton----------Henry------------------- Benayoun-----------------Morrison--------------------Traore -----------------------Austin-------------------------------- Home.......... -----------------------------Green-------------------------- Simpson---------------Onuoha--------Hill-----------------Yun ---------------------Barton---------Carroll------------------- Hoilett-------------------Morrison---------------------Traore --------------------------Austin----------------------------- (Unless we're a couple up from the 1st leg, then I'd play Henry instead of Carroll.
We certainly should play a team that at least carries a threat in the away game, Wigan's defence is pretty abysmal and we need to be able to take advantage if the opportunity presents itself. I'll bet Harry plays for a 0-0 again though...
I know you are a big fan of Junior, but would you agree that he tends to look better coming off the bench? I'd start with Benayoun in both matches and bring on Hoilett to replace whoever out of him and Traore gets injured first.
He has looked good coming off the bench of late and I certainly wouldn't mind Benayoun starting the 2nd leg if we're already ahead. However, if we're chasing a result, I'd like to see Hoilett, Morrison and Traore behind Austin from the off. I think Hoilett would be fine starting, as I believe we are a far more attacking threat with him in the side. It's a fair point though, that he would be even more dangerous against tiring defenders, as he has lately.
Benayoun has grown on me, always looking to carry the ball forward at pace and scoring some handy goals. My fear for Hoilett is that there is no way he will last 2 whole games without injury. When was the last time he played a full 90 minutes?
I think coll is pretty much there, but i wold do this. plus bring on bobby to nick a couple of late goals.
However, chances of a home fightback were all but extinguished in the 68th minute when full back Yun scored a scintillating solo goal. The South Korean sped past three Barnsley defenders then finished emphatically to restore his side's two-goal lead. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ung-strike-gives-Hoops-boost-play-battle.html please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
