The lad has put in a hell of a shift for Birmingham. He came on after Bolton scored with Birmingham looking relegate, but Ibe and Machadeia came on and completley changed the look of the game. Bolton got another, but everything has gone through Ibe and Birmingham got it back to 2 a piece to stay up at Doncasters expense.

He looks very very handy, do you reckon he could come in useful next year.

You can easily forget he is 18, he looks Stronger than Sterling, very quick off the mark as well. Solid love to see a bit more of him in a red Shirt.

i think we should have used him that way this season rather than Moses or Asaps, reckon he would have been no worst than them but he has a future.

hope we use him that way next season, can def give him game time in the cups hopefully.

I thought he was great last season with us on his few appearances. I actually rate(d) him higher than Sterling - although Raheem has come on leaps and bounds in the last 6 months. I can see Jordan coming into the mix next season and I hope he steps up another level. Those two could terrorize defenses and be a core part of our team for ten years!

Hopefully regular games at Birmingham will do more for his development than 3 or 4 10 minute appearances for us. Next year can see him getting a few sub opportunities and chances in the cups and then the following season will hope to do a Sterling and get regular games.

With Sterling's lacklustre form at the beginning of the season I wanted us to give Ibe a run.
It didn't happen, but Sterling has regained the form that got him into the reckoning in the first place, and has gone on to become one of the better players in the PL this season.
With the CL putting our squad under pressure next season, we need to keep players like Ibe involved and motivated.

    Alright mate <ok>

Agree with all of that. I can see BR giving more youngsters a go but you can still only have a 25 man squad whether you're in Europe or not so after he's named his squad, if Ibe is still only on the edge of that he will go on loan again.

There's Suso too, 3 goals and 7 assists in Spain in a struggling team, there's still Teixeria too, they are both a couple of years older than Ibe and Sterling, I think at least one of them will end up leaving this summer.

Don't see the need for any of them to leave to be honest. Not permanently anyway. If we can't give all of them enough games then we might as well make use of the loan system instead of getting rid of them completely.

I've not seen much of Tex- but what I have seen of him- he looked better than what I have seen of Suso.

Aye that's fair enough, I think they are both 21 at the moment, they need to be bled in the perm sooner rather than later, might have 1 loan season in them. As said aboveas members said, while we have dros like Aspas and Moses in the squad who are not as good as them 2.

Ibe and Suso can definately play apart for us next season i think. have both been very positive for their loan sides this year. Suso wants to come back to us but there has been alot of interest from teams in Spain which is a positive sign.

Think Tex has massive potential but needs a season of regular football and I would like to see him go out to a La Liga side next year. Think next season will see some more debuts for the first team for a few of the youth players. At a guess Id expect Brad Smith, Ryan McLaughlin, Jordan Rossiter and Cameron Brannaghan to get on the pitch at some point next season. Even though the latter two are very young, they are both very good.

Think we will be sending a lot of good youngsters out on loan again next season. Coady to Championship/Low Prem. Then Lussey, Peterson, Dunn to League 1/Championship.

Has to be time for a few young players such as Ngoo, Sama and a few others

How old is Ngoo now? Feels like he's been a top youth prospect for about 20 years now... He must be close to 40 by now... lol.

I think Suso, Ibe and Tex are going to come through into the first team squad in the next 12 to 18 mths. The weakness I see in players coming through the academy is defensively this is were we will need to buy in.

Ibe is still young... I doubt (based on the "predicted" signings we'll make) he'll get much game time next year.
I'd like to see the lad got a Prem. side where he could get more game time and get more up to speed on Prem. football.
Then come back to us in 15/16, he still be 19 nearly 20!
I'd take Suso back and loan out Alberto.
Following Enrique on Twatter, he high rates Tex, so could look to see him get more game time next season.
On a side note, now that Sunderland look safe, if they bid close to what we paid for him, would you sell?

i am in the camp where i would rather sell, can see the argument for keeping as he is still young, but don't think he is good enough back up personally.

if we are getting players like Kono etc in, what's left for him cup games? we should be using the younger members of the team for that like tex etc.

Ibe i would like to see go to any of Swans,Saints or Sunderland maybe, would they want or play him though?
