Sunderland are discussing a move for French full back Aly Cissokho. The Lyon man has two years left on his current contract and the Black Cats are prepared to bid 7.5m GBP to bring the defender to the club. Cissokho has also been attracting the attentions of AC Milan, who have made an offer for the Frenchman in the past. This would be a WOW signing for me, but £7.5 million? Lyon paid double that to sign him from Porto. Milan won't be looking, they have Taiwo and Antonini, this would make such a difference to the side, Cissokho is fast, he put's decent balls into the box, and he's a decent defender as well. I want this to be true, truly. This would be a statement signing without a doubt.
