I left Hull before chip spice. Chiltern, I will accept that in your frustration you posted something that could be mis-interpreted and in the spirit of comradeship, I will not keep on. We are the Tiger Nation and whilst in Hull itself there are bandwagon jumpers, being and remaining a Hull City supporter when you live "down south" is harder. I do hope that you can get a ticket, without paying more than the true cost. If I had a ticket that was spare, I would rather it went to a City supporter who cared, than someone who just wanted to jump on the bandwagon and who really had say Liverpool as their team. Just for your information, my season pass has been used by posters on here as well as servicemen on leave from conflict zones. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to be something I am not, but I do my bit when I can. As I say, I really hope you get a ticket, but not in front of me.
I'll get one right behind you Omega (that's a joke I promise) There was no malice intended in 'that post' as far as I'm concerned a supporter is a supporter it makes no difference to me, nor is it any of my business, how, why, what, when made anybody a City supporter (I'd spas at a Liverpool fan sitting in our end - but I'd strangely understand why they might be there). My initial post could have been better written to avoid any mis-interpretation; some of my responses to you were distasteful. A full home crowd at the KC is good for the club as it would be to fill Wembley with Black and Amber (no onesies) - it was never my intention to suggest my support is more valuable or deserving than yours or anyone else's. My granddad was from Scotland, came to Hull, went to a game, went from bandwagon to obsession spawned now 3 generations of City fans....nothing wrong with a cup final bringing in a bit of new blood.
Chiltern you really should join HCSS or at least HCOSC Southern Branch. By the way I am in the Chilterns next week working. I do hope that we don't meet. Not because of todays postings but because of what I do for a living.
The club are desperate to give you a ticket! Just call them tomorrow at 9am. Some of us don't even have that option!
