I have just finished watching the fans forum video and looked at it as a fan with no wish to be proved wrong or write on any agenda. I wanted to watch it to see if our club was in good hands. Have the board learned thier lessons and do they have committed plan for the future?
I think i was left feeling that it was YES to all of those points and it seemed clear they are aware of our frustrations and concerns. No spin just an awareness of what they have got wrong and dont intend to repeat it. If we do not get promoted expect big changes. The interesting thing for me was when TF said he has learnt from 2 years ago and it will not happen again.

So the question is Do you feel with this chairman and board our future looks better than ever before?

If you have not watched it then i suggest you really take time out to do so.

Ill reserve judgement and see what direction we go in the summer. Age of players, fees, new manager or not, type of player coming in etc.

Everything - yes everything - TF and co said in the Fan's Forum was unreservedly positive, and should be welcomed as great news going forward. We are fortunate to have Tony in charge.

They've learned that they have made mistakes, but have they learned not to make completely different mistakes. I've learned that mistakes are often on the card or just around the corner, but never unforseen unless out of the blue or just unexpected. Many, Many mistakes remain 'unexplained' but rest assured that where there is a mistake the club will go through hell and high water, leave no stone unturned to face that mistake and then......

    Partially,

The unknown unknowns are our achillies hamstring, learning from these is a bit of a bugger as we really not in a position too unless we grow as a unit, knowledge is fertilizer in this game. What little fertilizer we have just seems to go down the drains, what I do know is that when it drains, it drains.

I like him but there is such a long way to go I fear I will lose interest.

I never thought I'd see QPR fans plagiarizing Donald Rumsfeld.

I think thats what differentiates us from 'supporters' of many other clubs. Our fatalistic ability to shoot ourselves in the foot time after time is well ingrained. On what basis would you choose to support QPR in this modern age?

I have faith in TF's enthusiasm but as yet actual positive achievements under his reign are few and far between

Also I've not checked Wiki but is it possible that Rumsfeld is a Ranger?

We are very nearly at 20 year's worth of on and off pitch humiliation and embarrassment - 3 relegations ( 2 promotions), administration, joke owners, joke managers, joke players with a few, brief, isolated beacons of commitment, quality and delivery along the way. We deserve no sympathy because, as you say Wubba, much of our suffering is self inflicted. If us and Brentford were to be threatened with closure tomorrow, none of the uncommitted of West London would want us to survive over them. Or even, I suspect, Fulham.

Tony's biggest failing is that he gave us (or at least me) hope that it didn't have to always be like this. And so far it's still like it has been for two decades. Perhaps he should be more like Redknapp and stress how difficult everything is all the time. I'm desperate for Tony to succeed, not just for my club's sake, but because he's an adventurer and risk taker, full of passion, and we need more people like that. But f**k me it's tiring.

I hope so and want to say yes, but will wait until I see the first brick being laid at either the new training ground or new stadium before being 100% convinced. That, or the righting off of the debts would leave me in no doubts whatsoever.
