I'll be there, must be a glutton for punishment I reckon! Can't see any possible way we can get anything out of the game, especially after the result last night leaving Chelsea with only the Premiership title to go for. It could be a pretty depressing day all in all, and the journey home might be horrible if other results have gone against us before we play. But then again, you never know.....
Anyone know if there are any tickets going? I tried to get one but failed. I'll be in London anyway so I could definitely make it.
My brothers going, but it's her indoors birthday so I bravely declined a ticket to take her away instead. Bah!
Hip injury!? I thought he had shin splints! Poor old Pilks. He's made of glass. http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...ip_injury_joseph_yobo_still_a_doubt_1_3584135
I see that Rooney is injured for the Sunderland game, convenient that he was fit enough to do a job on us last week. Honestly, I can't wait for the season to end, just feels like we have been getting shafted right, left and centre.
I've heard he has shin splints too but I believe that's a chronic injury and he plays through it consistently.
I rang up the club after they'd sold out and asked to be put on a waiting list. The woman on the other end said there wasn't one as such but she'd let me know if anyone cancelled. The following day I had the tickets in my hand. Could be worth a try?
Yeah, I decided to ring up today and I'm now on the waiting list. Should've done it earlier I suppose.
Just a heads up for anyone who was planning to use the district line (like me for example) to get to the game that there's no service between Upminster and South Kensington all weekend. My best advice would be to either use the Piccadilly Line to Earls Court and either get the district line two stops to Fulham Broadway if you're a lazy arse, or the better option, and the one I'll be doing is to get off at Earls Court and take a very pleasant stroll through Brompton Cemetery, turn right at he end and you're pretty much at the ground. I work around there and that cemetery is one of my favourite places in London, it has been stunning this spring with all the daffodils out. Last time I went that way to a city game Neeyull was in charge and we won the cup - you never know...
