I'm a civil servant so generally no. Plus Heathrow to London on a Friday before a bank holiday is never going to take a few hours.
2pm UPDATE: Hull City say tickets remain available for the FA Cup final against Arsenal at Wembley. A spokesman for the club said queues at the KC Stadium are minimal but phone lines are "red hot". City have received an extra allocation from the FA, but have not revealed how many tickets this involves. However, a minimal number of £45 and a larger number of £115 tickets remain. It is not clear at this point whether any tickets will be available for general sale to all-comers on Tuesday. Tickets are on sale today to supporters who purchased a ticket for the semi-final against Sheffield United and are available in person at the ticket office or over the phone, on a first come, first served basis. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...-21046583-detail/story.html?012#ixzz30ZX92Ufw
I think they should have made some of the £115 tickets available to 'normal' fans in the first place
The general sale queue on tuesday should be fun then. Let battle commence for whatever is available. Lol.
Phones really have been an arse all day and it's still no different - not that that shouldn't be expected.... ....when I was a kid, living in East Kent, I genuinely thought I was the only City fan living outside of a HU postcode; in all fairness when I was a teenager the lack of support at the 'Ark reinforced that belief. Plastics, bandwagoners, old supporters coming back it is good to support a team that suns itself in a bit of popularity. It's still **** that they've only got one phone for everyone to try and get through on! Wonder how many of the above will be trying to screw seasoned support with they're tickets.....
So what title do you give me. I only really started to attend matches 7 years ago at the age of 50. I am a season pass holder who travels 250 miles to get to home games. I didn't queue for my final ticket or even ring up. **** the "seasoned" support if they are all like you.
Prices go up on the day and then drop before kick off. The prices seem low even taking into account inflation. There must be a special football inflation.
I suggest you are the idiot. So you don't realise that there are ticket touts outside Wembley selling tickets? This is how I bought my ticket and I have seen touts there every time I have been to Wembley. I never suggested that I bought them from "a ticket office". I really am worried about the intelligence of some people on here.
I managed to buy one quite easily. I bought mine from a scouser. It's the cockneys you have to be wary of. I wouldn't rely on it but if you go among City fans and let it be known you need a ticket then you might get lucky but it's always a risk.
