Apparently they are discussing it. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/34930 We will also own the groud. There's lots of other info their from the fans meeting. Seems like every fan is concerned with the long term future judging from that article.
Mostly all very positive with the exception that 'we have a few years' to think about the configuration of the new stadium. That probably places it at least 5 years out. I'm not sure I can put up with the Ellerslie bogs for that long (although, having done it for 50 odd years I guess I probably can).
I noticed the stadium size will be dependent on the quality of football, looks like were going to move into Brentford's old ground if we carry on like this! I also noticed marsh said we needed a football man making the decisions which is a rightful dig at beard who has caused this mess.
He was jokingly making a pitch for the job I think you will find Flyer. That is a superb write up by Clive by the way and it was on there first thing this morning so fair play to him.
Dear god, I was reading for 10 minutes, thinking surely I must be near the end, only to find i hadn't even read an 1/8 of it. I wish Clive would keep it shorter, if he was a novelist you need a fork lift to deliver his books. And trust flyer to try and turn a positive evening, with positive statements and important points answered along with the news they're probably just going to right off the debt, into something negative and word it like everyone at the forum agreed with him when clearly it doesn't. Clive clearly states that not one person asked about Harry Rednapp's future. So if not one of the fans forums is raising the question regarding Rednapp, I guess that pretty much puts you on a little island all on your lonesome with only yourself to whinge at.
Yes, selective editing from Flyer again. You might not like the length of Clive's article but you wouldn't swap it for Flyers edited version now would you!!??
I've nothing against Clive, I think he's a top sports blogger and I particularly like the fact that he give a totally impartial view. There are many blogger's out there that could claim to be so impartial, I think Clive would make an excellent commentator. But as a writer I feel he waxes a little to lyrical at times, his ethos seem "why use one word when 1000 will do". I just feel he could convey his message in half as many words and likely make the article that more enjoyable and better for it. As for flyer, my fuse has blown, time has run out, the eruption has started! He reminds me of number8buser from the old 606, I also see people still moaning on twitter about him from I think we are the Rangers boys. He also used to moan about everything to do with the club without exception! He too was a plum off gigantic, nay epic proportions, just like our dear old flyer. I would say his 'blind' negativeness far out weighs anyone's blind optimism, for I don't see anyone blindly optimistic on here. I don't think anyone is truly happy with the way things have gone for the club, but at least the rest of us are still supporting the club for what it is. Flyer is the only person I've ever heard of talking about not supporting the team till the manager is sacked? What kind of BS is that? You support the team for what it is, regardless of player, manager or owner. If things get so bad then things change and fans speak out as a collective, but you flyer stand on a pedestal like the madmen who talks their utter nonsense at speaker's corner on a Sunday, with tourists laughing and taking pictures, cause no one of any consequence is listening. You've become like the drone of a mosquito in the dark.
Someone needs to get laid, DT, have you still got some Russian hookers you can send his way? You do realise you've taken a joke and made it into an angry rant, that's no different to what I do with our manager. I think you're a hypocrite.
watch the bloody video already posted. its worth it. You get the context in which it was said, body language etc. As I have put on a new post I found it very reassuring. Lone I dont engage with Flyer anymore so dont get wound up. watch it and you will be calmed..
Just saying, the above statement is unfair....Flyer is a supporter...QPR is his club. ...you can call him what you like, negative, a pessimist, a follower of Morrissey, all may be true, but QPR is his team and cut him and he bleeds blue and white. He may have different/stronger views to the majority of us....but this is a forum and he is should be able to say them It is called debate...that is why we are here I am now waiting for a nepotism remark from Swords
My views will become mainstream if we don't go up. Its funny how I post something positive and a couple of people just moan, pretty ironic eh? Also, I don't like Morrissey.
Its music to slit your wrists too, however I've had my music described as music to kill your mother and eat your babies to. So my music taste is suspect. Still, at least I don't like boy bands, r and b and rap.
Where? above, you moan about the quality of the football, you slate beard for not being a 'footballing man' and you decry the timeline of the new stadium plans. Unless this IS you being positive?
Is the quality of football good? Are you pleased with beard? Where did I say any anything about the timeline? Basically the thread has been ruined by people looking for an argument. Nice going, now go ruin the thread I made about the youngsters playing.
