well to be fair jb it was a poll when our aim was top 4 finish, if we are honest we didn't expect to be where we currently are, strange how it worked out.

is interesting that most wanted a city win as at the time spurs was the threat not city to top4 finish which we thought we may get and now talking about the title, think it was only dave (may be wrong) who was at the time we can win the title so spurs win.

yeh I get all that, it's just 'now' we want anything but a city win and every time I come on this thread it's like a mantra seeing it in big bold letters

They are reportedly only prepared to offer him a two year contract and are putting pressure on him to take Giggs under his wing during that time to learn him the ropes, when the two years are up Van the man tries to negotiate an extension to his contract the carpet will be pulled from under his feet by Giggs who will already have the keys to the managers office in his back pocket.

I'd be very surprised if Van Gaal goes with the flow and makes Giggs his assistant, Fergie's eyes and ears in the dressing room.
