The jokes last two albums are worth looking up, some of the best stuff they have done in a while. They still have it after all these years!
Yep. I've seen them a fair few times here in Belfast where they always have a very appreciative audience. Part of my theme track growing up here. They have(or Youth at least) released a new album of Dub covers some of which are great. It kinda emcompasses my two early loves of Punk and Dub. Giving our age away a bit here Jack, lol. http://www.killingjoke.com/
I turned 50 earlier this year mate so I know what you mean. Punk and Dub must make you a big Clash fan as well then?
If you get some spare time then here are a few I would recommend if you have not listened to already! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgJLb0Vqr-s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LemzpnB-HWc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc-YDG7GG0s
I Liked Into the Valley but I don't recall them doing a lot after that. Richard Jobson was on TV as a presenter for a bit. I saw Big Country a few times supporting other acts. The Cure I think.
