As you know Vol I post on every Charlton forum. Not happy with that Leftbehind and myself formed our own.
That's right! There was also some bloke called Nick on Your Views who had a terrific idea- when it closed down the regular contributors would meet up for a drink in the Bugle Horn. Several of us did take him up on the idea, had a good drink, and discussion of all things Cherlton. Sadly Nick himself failed to show up!
I used to like the old 606 for the fact that it was more interactive with fans of other clubs . we are kings of Not606 but it is very underused by other clubs. Used to like the banter with udders fans I used to post on the O/S back in the day I remember when we got relegated and dropped the women's team and posting that if we had to make cutbacks I fully supported ditching the women's team..god I got some stick. Though I still have no interest in women's football whatsoever !
You've invented plenty of facts since you signed up here. For instance, after the Millwall home game in September you said we had scored 1 goal from open play since April, when in fact we had scored 11 from open play. You also said, around the same time, that Chris Powell had never been able to turn a bad run around, when he had done twice - after a winless December 2012 we won 3 league games on the bounce in January, and then after a run of 2 wins in 10 saw us to an unbeaten 8-game run towards the end of the season. You made up the 'we only support Powell because he is black/because of middle-class guilt' thing when I and others provided firm evidence that the overwhelming reason for our support for him was his successful record as manager. Another lie is that for the fans who support Powell it's apparently 'not about the welfare of the football club'. 6 wins and 24 points are indeed facts. As are the 4 games in hand we had.
It all depends on how you use a football forum. To learn from others or to make others learn from you. I like to know whether other fans see what I see, but if they see it differently that's food for thought. I get a lot out of posters who see something I've missed.

Well remembered. I always forget what people post from before even on disagreement. It's bad enough remembering what the new imported players look like.
