Everyone has one and I believe it takes league performance into account. If we win the cup I think this seasons coefficient will be around 7-10. I checked wigans the other day and there's was something like 3.3/3.3/3.3/3.3/7.5 It's done over a 5 year period, but wigans cup win accompanied a relegation which surely will have cost them points for the season. If we maintain this position in the league we might have a good one for this season but 3 seasons in the championship and a relegation won't do us any favours. Edit: 09/10. 10/11. 11/12. 12/13. 13/14. Points Wigan. 3.585 3.671 3.050 3.285 7.357 20.949 Swansea 3.585 3.671 3.050 3.285 10.357 23.949 Birmingham 3.585 3.671 10.050 3.285 3.357 23.949 Edit: strange that Birmingham gained more points for league cup/relegation than Wigan did for FA cup/relegation.
Not exactly. A club's coefficient is made up of the coef. points made over the past five seasons AND also 20% of your nations coefficient. So our coefficient will be 16.949, or around that area, which is usually enough to get you into Pot 2. Don't 100% trust me on this though, please.
Ahh ok then, well that's a bit rosier then, we've got to a cup final and finished (hopefully) midtable. Maybe Pot 2 or 3 then!
Sevilla left it late to scrape through with a 90th minute away goal. The winners go into next season CL so we wont have to worry about them in the europa league.
To be honest I imagine we could take as many as we want to any game. Let's face facts, we really arent a big draw for home fans and if we drew Inter they'd give us 50,000 tickets at Giuseppe Meazza if we wanted them.
