City's record at home is to good for them to lose to Villa or Norwich so it's all down to Everton. All we can do is win the last two games.

As to gut feelings, they usually end up with a visit to the bog and then they go away.

BR says in his post match interview that alace are all about long balls, long throws and dirty tactics - does he actually do research on the opposition? I fear for him on monday if he sets up his team with that in mind

Just listened to Rodgers post-match interview again and the ONLY thing he says about Palace is that it will be a tough game. So I think you must be in lala land.

Just voted Palace win. The wheels do appear to have slowed down on our bus, not as bad as coming off, but if Pulis gets Palace to park the bus like Maureen did with Chavski, then I can see lots of pointless huffing and puffing. For me Suarez hasn't been up to his high standards in about 4 weeks now, not sure if it is these new knitted boots, but his range and accuracy has fallen off a cliff. The fact that he didn't get a hat-trick against Norwich means he's not quite right. I can only hope that Dan is a bit refreshed after his week or so out.

I would agree - Suarez (and also Sturridge) have slowed down quite a bit. Thankfully we had Coutinho, Henderson and Sterling to pick up the pieces.

Suarez gives a lot both physically and mentally in every game. I think the lad just needs a rest.

Whilst Pulis is defensively solid, we still have enough quality to break them down and I think the lads will be raring to go. We go again.

It will be Chelsea-light. Yes, Pulis will play same tactics... when hasn't Pulis arranged for anything but anti-football? However, it will be less expensive, less quality players doing the defending.

Mourinho may have parked two buses... Pulis can only afford a VW minibus and a Robin Reliant.

That's an ignorant comment, as Palace have been playing some quality football under Pulis of late. They're a decent side and Puncheon is on fire at the minute.

I can't see that being legal on matchday... thereagain Pulis will try any underhanded tactic he can.

Puncheon has had a good run but is far from being a quality Premiership player - he knows it, Pullis knows it and in their heart of hearts the Palace fans know it. Now Pullis will want his side to try their best to win the match. You may not like him but I don't think you can doubt his honesty. He would have set out to beat City as well. However, there is very little he can do about the attitude of his players.

You can't blame the Palace players. You are now safe having busted a gut to gain safety when every pundit said "they're gone". Would you now go hard into a 50/50 or make that lung busting run? Pullis can plan all he wants but that motivation has now gone. Even the crowd (which has been brilliant for them) is now in party mode. I'm sure that if the opportunity arrives to win the game then I'm sure that the adrenaline will kick-in. But 1 or 2 goals down will not make them play harder.

As for us. We have to be professional. This is the next game and our job is to win it - nothing more or nothing less.

Firstly, we'll likely win, because the humiliating (for his ego) fashion BR lost to a parked bus has been spurring him to study the right ways of carving up a similar type of defence. So, I expect BR to tactically train the team properly this time around. I just hope that defensively we're up to it.

Secondly, Suarez doesn't wear knitted shoes any longer.

Thirdly, though he may be subpar re his lofty standards, Suarez still contributed with our best chances last weekend: would-be-assists to Coutinho, Sakho and Gerrard as well as his injury time half-volley from 15 yards.

I wish we (and esp Suarez) would have taken more shots from just around the penalty area, rather than try short central tippy tappy passes. Oh, yes, width is key too. With Sturridge back, Sterling can combine with the fullbacks on the wings and stretch Palace's defence.

I just feel the league will be over before we even play. A man city win and I don't see us being up for the game at all.

A City win does NOT mean that the title chase is finished. I just can't see this side collapsing like some of our supporters appear to be doing!
