A 4am start from Sheffield to get the train, 11hrs queuing. I'd like to publicly say that I love my Mum
When I lived in Hull I had a season ticket and went to about 10 or so away games a season. I even had a season ticket one season when I lived in Hull and went to practically all the away games. I agree it's more about City than quality because I have Chelsea and Arsenal easy to get to but I don't go. But I don't like the club putting out weakened teams. I'm not saying that a club has to always play their better players because sometimes they need a rest or they may not be 100% fit but I don't like the attitude of saying: "it's the FA Cup lets play the players that can't usually get in the team".
PLT, I actually find watching any football that does not involve Hull City boring. I didn't watch either of the Champions League matches this week. I would not have a season pass if we where in league one, but would still go to as many actual games home and away as I do now. In fact last season I went to more matches than this. I do have one hang up. If I get a ticket and some one who really does every home and away doesn't get one, I would be sort of upset. There are better supporters out there than me and for some supporting Hull City is everything.
I don't find them boring but there's just not the same intensity. I think if anybody goes to every match home and away they would get a ticket easily. I dont think people who live in Hull and are season ticket holders are super wonderful. The fans who live 100 or more miles away and go to every home and away match are the ones who have my respect. The club really have to get their ticketing records sorted out and place more emphasis on those who go to away games and stop crazy queuing and phone calls.
I live hundreds of miles away, I was at Southend, I would have been at Brighton until it got moved to Monday, I was at Sunderland, I was at the semi final. Your excuse is rubbish, you have a car.
My wife has a car. I haven't got a driving licence! My wife sat in the car park at Brighton during the match - she doesn't like football. What's so bad about Brighton being played on a Monday? Your excuse is rubbish!!!
I don't watch footy unless HULL City are playing. Its rare I even bother to watch England games Anyone know if there's tickets on sale tomorrow. Someone just asked me and I said I don't know.
You will never see a gravestone with 'I wish I'd of spent more time at work' on it. Think on, you only pass this way once and earning money isn't everything.
What blocks left any ideas was hoping my son could get one he went with me for semi as my plus 1 .I'm in 109
You'll never seen a gravestone saying any of the following either: "I wish I'd spent more time watching City" ... "chasing girls" ... "earning more money"
My uncle (who I was going to the final with) has just got back from getting a ticket and queuing for hours, only to get phone call telling him he's going to be offshore (works on rigs up in Scotland). Gutted is an understatement. He even managed to get in the row behind me in 505.
