The Atletico team that schooled Mourinho cost less than Willian.

He's not even good with money.

 

But he won the league in spain with real madrid- he must be a genius.

 

Wonder if Roman will give him a good kicking where it doesn't show for not winning him the European Cup? All the time screaming "Why Jose, why? You never bring me what I most want - you're useless!!!"

18 mil on Schürrle (arranged before maureen)
11 mil on Salah
32 mil on Willian
21 mil on Matic (granted he was cup tied for CL)
8 mil on Van Ginkel

Thats a combined total of 90Million . And he brought in Eto'o on a free and all the players that were at the club most of whom he signed in the first place. The majority is his team.

£90 Mil, christ thats alot of money and there is a big chance they'll finish with nothing this season.

 

But then you could argue the worst team won in 2007

Worse starting point. We had and still have a much thinner squad than the chavs. Rodgers has also had two more transfer windows than Maureen meaning his spending is going to be higher (or in this case similar)

Not to mention we have sold players, that 90mil of Chavs wouldn't be so bad if they had money coming in to balance it out. Chelsea are hoarding players.

And last I checked moving from 7th to top3 brings a larger justification with it
