I'd be more than happy to see KK back, at least we'd see some real football.

PP have KK at 66s if you fancy a dabble.
Nice sentiment from KK, but as Ashley isn't selling up in a hurry its not going to happen.

I think RDM will come in, personally. He'll still be a bit cheaper than most and it's not as if clubs are lining up for him.

Not according to RDM, he reckons he's had plenty of offers.
However, he's still being paid £130K a week by Chelsea until June as they couldn't come to an agreement when he was sacked.

Fair enough. I knew about Chelsea, so I would expect RDM to have a job announced on the 1st of June. The rumour was that job would be here.

Why would he sell up, he doesn't need to.
NUFC gives him free publicity and advertising.
We gave something he cant buy - Credibility and Respectability in the Business World.

Even if someone came along with £250m which is highly unlikely, I think he'd knock it back and increase the price.

100% this. He's here until it become too costly/difficult to keep the club in the PL. If that day never comes, he won't go.

I've got it down to Moyes and Bruce, but I'd add RDM to the list of potentials.
I cant see him gambling, and these three would give him what he wants in a manager, trust and confidence in them.

Roberto wouldn't be my first choice but he'd be a good choice.

Di Matteo or Lennon would be better than Moyes or Bruce.

    I don't like Neil Lennon either! <yikes>

Disappointingly low odds on Rosler. Bielsa...

Could do a lot worse than McClaren.

Howe or Rosler for me though, preferably Rosler. If we're after a name to help attract players then De Boer.

Ashley's website actually running an article with John Beresford basically putting most of the blame at P45dew's door:

Of those I'd take Laudrup, Redknapp (honest), Moyes, Ranieri, Rijkaard (in that order) for being more talented managers than Pardew. I'd take RDM and Hughton for being nicer human beings and about equal with Pards in terms of managerial ability, and the rest I'd pass on.

Not too many options I'd take... But obviously there are loads of lesser talented, more horrific human beings who will top Ashley's shortlist to replace Pardew <ok>

Problem is the bookies have no clue on this, hence the wild odds. And with Pardew being in a job, under the most secretive man in football, the chance of any rumours of his sacking or his replacement are pretty much zilch.

I'm convinced Ashley has only got one name on his shortlist..........David Moyes
    (Steve Bruce as a back-up)

He's tried to get Moyes twice before and has probably already put feelers out there testing the water.
Why has he suddenly indicated over the last couple of days that there will be money to spend?
    No compensation to anyone.
Moyes isn't a gamble, and meets his criteria for a manager - Trust and Confidence in them.

I honestly don't recall Ashley trying to get Moyes before, though I accept that's my oversight! Have you got any links?

Like the SD website piece from Beresford I posted earlier, the witch-hunt seems almost by design at the moment. P45dew isn't being talked to by Ashley, you can see that he looks completely lost. His soundbytes almost seem like pleas to the owner. Then there's Ashley sitting on the board, and almost real quotes from the fat man himself saying money will be spent. I also found that interesting, that Ashley seemed to pick out 3 players to talk to, and went for dinner with Coloccini. Not Pards.
