Well, there is a Fan's Player of the Year award, and a Player's Player of the Year award...

Though I still expect Davies to win both.

I'm sure he would, but just out of interest if you woke up on the 17th and heard a player was injured who would you least like it to be? ( apart from harper & not tempting fate )

The player's player is the best indicator really. Think Hudd may have a chance but more than likely Davies.

I voted for Assem but Ehab pushed him close.

Agreed. Davies will rightly win this year but the last few PotY awards voted by fans have been stupid. Elmo got it last year who was good but miles behind Quinn in the overall MOM voting on this board (who won players' player) and from memory Elmo wasn't as good as he's been this year, he had a big dip in form at the end of the season. The year before that Koren won, he'd had a good season but nowhere near as good as Chester, who was the standout player that season and won players' player.

You may jest but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case:

    1) The Allams with the Allam family continuing to lead the club
    2) One of the players
    3) I don't care either way and will continue to support the club

I was surprised not to see AA on the goal of the season link. Thought he'd of got at least one in considering the amount & quality of own goals he's scored this season.

    Agreed.

For example, Quinniesta was by far our best player last season, how Elmo won it I have no idea.

At least the players knew what they were on about and picked Quinny.

Really? I think Elmo has been very poor this season as he is one of the most predictable players in football and decent full backs like those in the premier league can read him like a book. Last year I thought he was very good as against the poorer standard of defences he could whip in some great crosses, this year I can barely remember him putting in any.

I voted and went for Curtis, but Meyler has probably been the most improved player this season.

    Davies - clearly.

Second choice would be Rosenior - He's been equally outstanding when selected.

I chose not to vote to avoid more junk mail.

    Davies though, obv.

I think he's the opposite, I think he's been less effective this year and was better last year. Good squad player, but I'm not sure he's better than Quinn.

The junk mail thing, the club are obliged to offer an 'opt out' or 'unsubscribe' option, without it I also have used a bullsh*t email address!

Voted Davies although think Meyler has worked hard this season & Rosienior has been great. So good to be spoilt for choice. All the players have contributed to what has been a fantastic season & they all deserve recognition for their achievements as a team. FA CUP FINAL, EUROPE, PL SURVIVAL UNBELIEVABLE !

Ps just a shame Hulltigergate had such a detrimental effect on the team ha CTWD
