The last line isn't really a valid comparison as Rodgers so far has won precisely **** all. Simeone has.
Can you imagine Jose setting up like he does with Chelsea at United? I cant. He wouldnt have the personnel. He would also have not 1, but 4 actual strikers. 4 strikers better than any at Chelsea. His Real side scored 121 goal. 121 goals ffs Hes what I like to call, adaptable. Adaptable is good in my book.
Taken a side thats not done much in the league and made them title challenges out of nowhere? Seems comparable. Rodgers doesnt have Champions League football until next year.
Which is why it isn't a valid comparison to Simeone. Simeone has his side in the CL final, having previously won the EL, while sitting at the top of the La Liga.
They do not play negative football, I watch enough of La Liga to know they are far more attacking than Mourinho's Chelsea. Obviously against Barcelona they play counter attack, but who doesn't? Even Madrid sit back against Barca. Barca are a unique team, that you can't risk opening up against. Where they parking the bus in either game against Chelsea? Id say they played on the front foot for most of the 2 legs. Barca are probably weaker than they have been recently, but Real are probably as strong as they've been for many years, I can't remember a better Real Madrid side since the galactico's era. As for Rodgers he's done a very good job at Liverpool, you can't get away from that, though he has had no European football to deal with, and Liverpool probably won't even win the title. Where as Atletico have things in there own hands, and are in the final of the CL. So comparing Rodgers at Liverpool to Simeone is a silly comparison.
I don't think so, Di Maria and Modric have improved a lot under Ancelotti, whilst Gareth Bale is another string to Madrids attacking bow. As I pointed out earlier Ancelotti isn't a great title winning manger, and his sides do drop silly points, though in a one off big game this seasons Madrid are a lot better than they've been for many years. That's why they've strolled through the CL with relative ease so far. And they won the Copa Del Rey too. They are the best group of players in the world by along way
They were ****ing miles better pal. record breaking and real Madrid are a record breaking side full stop. Im a league matters most kind of guy.
Give mourinho the best players and he will break records. Chelsea, Madrid. give him half decent players and he will take them well above their station. Chelsea*, Inter, Porto. *second spell.

He'll be announced our new manager on wednesday and has agreed a 2 year deal as well - http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-uniteds-new-manager-louis-3484401
Oliver Kay of The Times is also reporting it as confirmed (usually reliable). Going to be announced within the week, but Giggs role still unclear. 2 years is a good deal considering when Klopp and maybe even Pep might become available.
If he does well in his 2 years with us, I don't see any reason to be changing managers after that, assuming he's happy to stay longer than that. I assume the short term deal, is probably because of his age, or if he's useless then we won't have to pay as much to sack him
After 2 years he will probably have a fight with Sir Bob and Giggs or something mental. Its what he does.
