This really will be our last gasp saloon
We´re now into added on time,
When we meet Chelsea, Sunday afternoon
Is where our final bell will chime

I can´t see many who´re up for the fight
Or who´ve pulled their weight now for weeks,
Which all year has been a part of the blight
Which has given us so few peaks

I´m not sure I really believe it, but hey
Only one thing now will do,
We have to go to Chelsea Sunday
And do what they did to the ´reds´ too

After last night they must feel quite low
Perhaps that might do us some good,
But Mourinho will get them back up as we know
Especially if he can smell blood

Wishful thinking, yes of course it is
But just what else do we have left,
So many times we´ve not done the biz
In a year which has been so bereft

But how all would be forgiven if they
Can end this year, like last, on high,
One win could lead to one more, final day
Much less and I think it´s goodbye

I care not one jot, if our possession
Is down under 20 per cent,
Or if we don´t make any impression
Until just before full time is spent

Ten men behind the ball will do me fine
And run till we can run no more,
Tackle, for god´s sake, till we hear them whine
Then hit them just once with a score

At least don´t do as we did at Man U
And hand it to them on a plate,
Chelsea know they have to keep winning too
Or just be consigned to their fate

If Arsenal can beat W. Brom Saturday
    Then maybe the proverbial beach,
They´ll be on already, by the time we play
And this insurmountable task we´ll breach

It´s sad that we have a poor goal difference
But where there´s a glimmer of hope,
Now´s not the time for meek deference
But it´ll take the faith of a Pope. OTBC

With you all the way RBF, it really is a tiny glimmer and my head is now saying please let us bounce back up next year!

What reaction will we get from Chelsea after last night?
Had they lost to Liverpool I think they'd have been on the beach?
But for them there cannot be any more Sunderland or Palace performances and therefore i fear we are doooomed !
Last week the footballing gods sought to oust Moyes before our visit and to fire up the home side, i fear last nights defeat and exit from the champions league is but another footballing god stuffing a red hot poker up the arse of our beloved club !
The big lass has taken to the stage, been given a microphone and has cleared her throat...........

Yes, you´re quite right chippy, but until we are actually down, it´s hard accepting that we are. :(

So , it looks like Snodgrass and Fer are ready to jump ship should we go down. I don't think that too many NCFC players are thinking about staying in the Prem, so it will be interesting to see who puts a shift in against Chelsea and Arsenal. An article in the EDP today outlines the games where the writer thinks we lost our way this season. For me the failure of RvW and the self-interest of Bassong and one or two others did not help the situation. Hopefully we will get a squad together who will show that they are ready to play for the club and the fans - this will be in the Championship I fear.

Yep, I have a seen a couple of articles particular about Snoddy, and if it´s true what they´re saying, I wouldn´t play either of them, Bennett E must be raring for a game, and Tettey too.

I've already accepted that we're down, I just can't see us beating Chelsea and Arsenal and i do think we have to win both games to stay up which again, I can't see it sadly.
