Agreed, on both points. Specially those vile ****s selling them on to touts who are robbing people of 4 or 500 quid for a £45 ticket.

Couldn't sell out the semi-final tough and outnumbered by a league 1 club, don't get the blue prints out quite yet.

Finally home in Snaith at 11:30 with our 7 Plus 1 tickets.
We bought our Pass holder allocation on Sunday. Realising there was likely to be mayhem so we just went for 2 groups of tickets.
Mate started queuing 6pm and I arrived from wotk in West Riding at 8 to take over.

I left the KC at 10:30 tired, cold but successful.

I've met pass holder's who wanted to sit with friends who are probably still queuing.

One nice observation was the girl on the ticket office door remarked how happy and cheerful everyone was , that was 10:30. She spotted new friends leaving with tickets bidding their overnight neighbours goodbye, "see you at Wembley"etc.

I couldnt resist pointing out to her we'd all just spent the night togther and few got any sleep!!!

Yes queuing in 2014 is archaic, yes, out of towners perhaps should have been considered further.

What I would say is a hell of a lot of people have met new friends, all together in adversity.

When all the tickets have gone later today I suspect the mood will change and those who didnt heed the warnings or take time to do some simple maths on ticket numbers wont be so happy when they've wasted hours for nothing!

My Mum's there. Text to say it's still all very good natured, places being kept for toilet breaks, free hot drinks. She's been clicked and has been told she's 2hrs from the ticket office.

It's a good point, you would expect some sort of provision for exiles.

And not being able to sort all this online is rather ridiculous.

If I recall from Sunday, 2 hours to the ticket office means she's just passed the big red bin but not yet the small green bin, not too far from the steps.

They have an average of 15,342 empty seats every home game.

The same would happen to us if we ever went down, which is a realistic possibility over the next decade or so.

I don't understand why they can't, they did for the play-off final.

How many more times? The semi final was Sheff United's cup final. City still sold 27,000.
This is however the real final and we could have sold 50,000 for this one. Take your rugby goggles off.

What if we don't go down and continued to strengthen? Which is a realistic possibility over the next decade based on the last one.
