According to BBC Loic Remy is the subject of a £15 million bid by Bayern Munich. ( Think this might just about rule us out )

Steve Taylor interesting Valencia, Galatasary & Fenebache

"Newcastle defender Steven Taylor, 28, could be on his way out of the club, with Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Valencia leading the chase for his signature."

Remy's not good enough for Bayern.

A champions league club yes, but one of the top four teams in Europe? Most definitely not.

Bad news on both fronts as far as I'm concerned, but at least it might add that little bit something to Stevie's game.

'Arry was quoted a few weeks ago on Remy having a £10million release clause so why would anyone bid more than that amount?

Release clauses are usually the beginning of negotiations.

Prolly £3 million for 'Arry. He likes his payments from agents.

Remy also held a meeting with Arsenal so a bidding war might take place.

Am I the only one who thinks Remy might not be worth £15 million.

Hes good do not get me wrong, but is he that good?

The money isn't about these days, everybody is having to count their coppers, I don't think he'll go for as much as £15m.

Strikers generally go for about £1 million per goal per season. £12 - £15 million would be about right.

Any more news on Saylor? Has 2 years left on his contract, so just wondering what fee we could realistically expect to get for a 28year-old, injury prone, (currently) third choice CB. Not much I expect. Unless he's desperate to get away, then surely worth more to us holding on to him - especially if Colo is off in the summer. Willo & MYM as first choice with kids as cover = relegation.

That calculation also works for Shola. Although it might be a tad on the high side
