Logged on the system but it appears that some have managed to get more than one ticket per pass as scanning has not been done. What a mess.
Did that once, they brought an inane amount of **** from the front of the shelves that had about 2 days of life left. Never again. I've got a (sort of) supermarket right on my doorstep now though, so I just go down pretty much daily and get whatever I fancy, usually whatever's on offer or reduced for being on its use by date. It saves me a tonne of cash. Got a whole duck for a 5er the other week! Big ****er anarl
The fresh bread and bakery produce selection in Aldi is woeful. Does do good wine though but lacks behind Lidl's premium selection for me.
We were about ticket 550 in the queue and got them around 9.20. 6 tickets seated together, about 6 rows up from the pass holders in our group. They asked the names of the pass holders that the +1's were booked under, but I'm really not sure they properly checked how many we were entitled to.
They could have known if they had checked but it does look like they just want to sell the tickets to anybody and get it over with.
Tickets for Hull City's FA Cup final against Arsenal at Wembley are likely to sell out today, the club says, as hundreds of supporters continue to queue around the KC Stadium. Fans who had camped out since yesterday lunchtime were breathing a sigh of relief this morning after getting their hands on the prized tickets. Over 5,000 tickets went on general sale today to fans who attended the semi-final, but the club warned those towards the back of the queue were likely to be disappointed. A spokesman for Hull City said the club expected all tickets to sell out today, meaning fans who are not season pass holders or did not attend the semi-final will be disappointed. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...ory-21042150-detail/story.html?#ixzz30SVMEzpA
It's human nature to cut some corners when dealing with the demand they have had in the last few days. I think the ticket office has done a good job to be honest. I know they worked an extra 4 hours last Sunday to finish the east stand queue.
Meanwhile those still in denial that increasing the capacity of the KC Stadium is not necessary still cling onto the hope that Hull City AFC will always be one of footballs great failures and never reach a major Cup Final, qualify for top European competitions or remain in the Premier League. Ten years ago they had a point. Today they sound ridiculous.
I was just going to ask what's the criteria for queuing today ie was it total general sale? So these are people with ticket stubs? Bloody hell, I thought it would make pure general sale to be honest. So where were all these people for the semi? If we sell out 25,000 by end of today does this mean loads of season ticket holders didnt bother vs Sheff Utd? Seems a bit odd.
Loads of season ticket holders didn't bother with the semi, it seems they wanted to save themselves for the final.
If you deny that the expansion is not necessary then you believe it is necessary. Not sure that's what you meant.
really hope there are some left on the phone lines tomorrow, I know my chances are slim even if they do but Il be gutted. Really feel the club should have set aside a small allocation for out of towners on the database to apply for.
I'm afraid the chances aren't slim, they're non-existent, even some of the people queuing now aren't likely to get one.
Should have been a few left for deserving causes like anyone who could produce an away stub for a 4th division/league two game. We'll have taken 52,000 to Wembley this year, and we could have taken another 10,000+ to the final, time to plan our extension.
Turns out that the twenty pizza's distributed last night were not a gift, they were only loaned to the club and we're now paying a pizza a year in interest...
The queue was still wrapping around the west stand as I left. Tired now as I stop at every service station on route home for a coffee
Just got some & was told us there were 4300 on the clicker at the end of the queue. People subsequently joining the queue are being told they may not get tickets. The +1 tickets were marked on the back to avoid reuse & all detaols of original lead applicant
Anybody getting more tickets than they were entitled to is a complete **** in my opinion On the other hand season ticket holders waiting until now to try to get tickets is madness
