The reliable Ogden is saying it's close then. Hopefully things move quickly and we get the transfers done before the World Cup. It also sounds like Giggs might leave, it doesn't seem LVG is very keen on him.

I like and rate Van Gaal, but is Diego Simeone the man we should be going after? He really out foxed Mourinho tonight, and has worked absolute wonders with Atletico. His sides don't actually play anti football, like I've said all along, they really took game to Chelsea tonight. And in the first leg, they where all over them

 

LVG has more medals so must be the better manager

 

I won't be complaining about Van Gaal, but Simeone really has worked wonders with Atletico, he is a masterful tactician. He embarrassed the special twat tonight, no doubt about that. He definitely needs to be taken into consideration, as he will be interested, there is no doubt about that

 

Simeone would be the better option IMO as he would be for the long term. Interesting that you would have the guy that was involved in making Beckham public enemy number one in charge too
