I think you are underestimating us, and with your strikers being out of form, I'm expecting a Swansea win 2-1 The scoreline last time we met seriously flattered you, where we just didn't have or shooting boots on. This time round I think it be a different story. Stats from last meeting: Possession Swansea 58-42 Southampton Shots Swansea 17-12 Southampton On target Swansea 7-4 Southampton Ps don't pay any attention to Dai
That game was a seriously strange one for us, and to be honest the only game we have won this season that we probably shouldn't have. The luck was with us, and we took our chances. Long time ago that game now though. Would love to win it, but really it doesn't matter a great deal.
He's definitely talking about the 2-0. They certainly should have scored that game but Boruc made a couple of good saves (that I believe were slightly exaggerated to being outstanding saves) and they were wasteful. I'm not willing to take much credence from that game as 90% of their threat was Dyer tearing Danny Fox to pieces, and obviously thankfully for us the latter will not be involved in this game. I think it will be tough just because of our lack of goal threat, but if Lallana really gets going again or Gallagher suddenly explodes we are comfortably good enough to win. Also if I were Mauricio I would be having people disguised as Bony jumping out from round corners and out of bushes to attack Vic for most of the week.
No the last game we met at your place. I look forward to playing you as I see us as very similar in style and hopefully we get to see a cracking game.
Don't buy this tripe of nothing to play for, Saints have player's going for the England squad. Swans manager trying to secure his position. Lot's to play for. I think Saints are the better team however and see a 2-1 to them.
Two teams similar style......I don't think either team should be taken for granted......I certainly predict a close match but am not brave enough to predict a result.
With Victor back and in form (not conceded since his return), I can see a 0-1 win Should be an attractive match with the leagues style teams playing
I'd like to see Shneiderlin, Cork, Wanyama and Davis in midfield. Which would mean Lallana having a more forward role getting ahead of Lambert. Kind of old-fashioned inside forward.
