The way i see it mate, there's a few problems and sticky issues.

There seems to be no definitive description, on what racism actually is, it's all open to interpertation by individuals.

What yourself and i wouldn't even blink an eye at, others will find a way, to make it seem they are offended.

Bit on the other hand, i accept that i may say something at times, which in my eyes means nothing, but in these times it is not accepted.

Plus like you have said, there is no common ground, it's one way.

It get's on my tits mate, you were in the forces same as I was & will have worked with black lads.
They used to call me a skinny bastard & I'd tell them to **** off ya black twat, not all black men have big cocks then?
It was just a bit piss taking, no ****er ever got upset about it.
There was a white lad worked with us who was an Everton fan, nastiest ****er I've ever met, still watched his back though, we had to otherwise life might be lost.
But he was still a ****.

I know what you are getting at mate, many a time it's just sticks and stones.

I still get it everyday, 'stupid farang, meaning foreigner'. Aye that stupid that i give some of you ****ers a job.

I have come to the conclusion, that in the UK and yankland especially, people need to be offended, so they have something to pipe up about..'Look at how pc i am'etc etc.

    They are the worst ****ers.

Comm, a group of ****ing Pakifuckingstani's pick up a 15 year old lad off the streets of Pollockshaws, take him on a ride to Dundee & back to Glasgow.
Take him up the east end of the city near Celtic's training ground & set the kid on fire & let him burn to death.
They admitted in court it was purely because he was white. A 15 year old lad man ffs!
How would Disco feel if that was his kid? He's go no answer to my questions, just blanks me.
Political correctness? If that was my lad I'd want ****ing blood big style.

I've seen a lot of that over the years.

Heres a Dozy question for the self righteous...What do you think the chances are of an NFL team owner being told he has to sell his team because of racial prejudice against blondes?

    Hi all,

I am a Postgraduate Student at Northumbria University. In my studies, I have found theories of the home advantage to be particularly interesting. More specifically, identifying the causes of home advantage perceived by fans and players is of importance to me and is the topic of my Postgraduate Thesis Project. I was wondering if it was possible for any of you to help me with my Thesis Project by completing a short questionnaire I have designed?

The questionnaire itself will comprise of various questions with regards to the causes of the home advantage and should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Questions will assess fans's attitudes towards the home advantage and therefore will not consist of any questions that will cause any discomfort or embarrassment. Confidentiality will be held for those who complete the questionnaire, and more information concerning confidentiality and questions about the study itself will be available through the link.

    Thanks very much in advance!

Thanks, I enjoyed doing this! <ok>

    You see, I'm into method acting, so I completed the form using different characters I have been developing;

    1. Was actually Baz, who is a keen fan who often posts here

    2. As my mother, who watches games at home sometimes

    3. An 11 year old girl, Amy; she hates football and is very moody

    4. Ian, 12, is the arch nemisis and he teases her ruthlessly. Ian has never been to a football match

    5. Granny Madge, she's just a witch of a miserable old cow, she knows nothing about football either

    6. An inmate of a high security prison-Jim, 67, who has been in prison for the last 20 years

    7. Mabel, 34; she is in an asylum, has frequent hallucinations and can no longer define reality. She was beaten as a child, but does have memories of been taken to Roker Park by her uncle, also an alcoholic.

Note: Mabel possibly gave the most useful answers, as Baz had trouble understanding some of the questions. None of the others have been to a football game, my mother simply got a bit flustereed and rang my cousin John, she always does this. Jim, just answered randomly and the other 2 pre-teens, tried to pretend they knew all about it.

    Hope that helps <ok>
