I read somewhere that in 9 years of management he's spent almost £600m, something like £275m in under 4 years at Chelsea. This is the same bloke who ****ed off Man City the other week for their 'free spending'.....

It's ****ing ludicrous given the amount the Chavs have already spent on their squad, that they need another 3 or 4 to compete. People slag off Wenger but what he's done with a squad that cost a fraction of Chelsea's speaks volumes. If we had another '3 or 4' players then we could equally do as well or better than Chelsea.
Does anyone think the chavs are pissed off that Benitez has won more European trophies than the " special one" whilst manager of Chelski ?

Benitez did a top job at Chelski in my opinion . But of course hes not flash enough for em, RDM won the CL and they sacked him , not flash enough . Ancelloti has more class in his arsefluff than the spendful one will ever have. Avram Grant had too much class for Chelsea.
It's the strategy that annoys me, buy buy buy, you have a problem sign a cheque to resolve it. Little thought to long termism, succession planning etc. They've won a couple of FA Youth cups in the last 3 or 4 years, not sure any of the players from those teams have ever made a first team appearance and it's not a huge surprise when the chequebook comes out 7 or 8 times a year and another international player arrives. Never really given it too much thought but you can see why Roy Hodgson has such a difficult job finding his best 11 players when opportunities are so limited for the majority of his players....
Apparently Mourinho has now lost 4 straight european semi finals. I would laugh, but at least his sides make the semis....
Im not getting onto the Wenger subject , **** that , but .....i dont think we would have to get 3 or 4 players . 2 would make a huge difference . The damage done to our campaigns done by the loss of just TWO players , has been crippling.
