So if you're not joining in the Nash love in, who did you vote for? I went for Ollson, think he has been very good this season. Reckon Snoddy will win it.
Has to be between these two really. Howson was an early contender but injuries have blighted him. I'd probably go for Olson.
I'm all for a bit of gallows humour but think this belittles the club. I'm glad we have an opportunity to vote for our player of the season and would hate for the trophy - that has some exceptional players on it - to become meaningless.
To be fair Snodgrass, Olsson and Turner have all had very good seasons so deserve to be voted for. Not sure the point of trying to make a statement when we should recognize the few of ours players who have performed very well.
I really hope snodgrass is captain next season, works his arse off, always sticking his head above the parapet etc he could be the next grant Holt
His tweet about the tabloid Celtic link - am I the only one on here who reads that as a "come and get me" cry? He won't be playing second division football in England next season, I strongly suspect. Snodders, Howson and Ruddy will be hoovered up by mid-table PL - despite their respective protestations to the contrary, and to be fair, what would any of us do in that situation? At least Snodders has worked his ass off second half of the season - if he'd bothered to show up for the entire duration, we may well not be in this muddle.
Got to be Olsson. His is about the only position that has generated no debate all season. I've also been a fan of Snodgrass but I remember defending him on here earlier in the season and I think there is no doubt that he has not always been at his best. Brad Johnson is also one of the few that can say he has given it his all. For me, Olsson deserves it and, whilst I can appreciate the gallows humour, it's a bit tough on him if one of the few positives from an awful season gets lost amongst all the high emotions.
Agree 100% SD and those performances have been despite needing shoulder surgery as soon as the season is over. No one else has shown consistency for four / five games running, never mind 36. I so hope he stays at the club - come what may next season
Yes, there have been times recently when the shoulder injury has clearly been aggravated and I believe he has withdrawn from 5 international games until September so that he could maximise his chances of completing Norwich's season before summer surgery. I also think he would have shone rather more if we had figured out who should be playing in front of him.
I can see me in that clip! Three rows from the front, just to the right of the goal above the word "great" on the hoarding - I'm the one throwing his hands on his head in the yellow shirt and red sleeves underneath It was one of the worst/most embarrassing thing I've seen a professional footballer do, thanks for sharing
I seriously do not know what the hell was going through his mind at that point, you wouldn't even see that on a sunday morning park game.
Look at Snodgrass' (I think it's him anyway) reaction whilst arriving late in the box for the pull-back. You can almost tangibly feel the frustration.
Must admit when I first heard about the Nash thing it did make me LOL However in retrospect, I suppose this is just another stick for us Hughton outers to beat him with. All due to the fact that his team have had such an abject, nay pitiful season. Summed up perfectly for me here: http://www.dissexpress.co.uk/sport/...ess-lies-with-the-board-and-mcnally-1-6033256 My protest is to simply abstain
