    This is my beef with that comment, why should he need to challenge himself? He's won everything a manager could with Barcelona, why would his next challenge be a team like Everton or Athletico Bilbao? We don't shout for Messi or Ronaldo to drop their levels to prove they're the best and we should accept the same with managers.

    Just on Bayern v Real and Guardiola.

    Put it this way, last couple of year Bayern have played quick attacking exciting football and won the treble. This year Pep has come in and they have slowed down their play dramatically and without that truly world class player up front seem to lack ideas to be able to break down teams who get men behind the ball (which they let them do because their build up is so slow).

    Yes they've won the German league but they brought their nearest rivals best player last summer and then plan to pick up the next one for free this summer which was agreed in Jan. If the Prem only had 2 teams and the top teams could just buy the 2nd best teams players, you'd probably end up in a similar situation with one team winning it by miles.

    Bayern aren't a crap team all of a sudden, but my god they are a lot less exciting than they were.


    Onto tonight's game and Defensive team 1 v Defensive team 2, has been a pretty dull game. Pretty much sums up both teams where they both prefer to play teams that dominate the ball and they can draw teams onto them. When both teams sit back and don't have that creative spark then turns into pretty boring affair.

    First time in a long while I'll be cheering on R.Madrid in the final as despite spending a fortune, actually play half decent football and look to attack.
