Someone posted this the other day but it seems just want you need right now. Don't grumble, give a whistle... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlBiLNN1NhQ
Who did you want Leo that would be feasible better option? Tiny Dancer on the radio which is an anagram of Sean Dyche- is it a sign from the gods?
Sean Dyche is as good as anyone - that is my problem. As a club we have fallen so far. The best appointment is an assistant to an assistant who was not our first choice when the last manger who had been here for more than two years left. No one good would have looked at us - so we have gone for cheap and untried - best choice and I don't mean that sarcastically - but despite the great clip above I am not going to post much for a while in case I make everyone else feel as miserable as I do - I will still "lurk" though looking for things to make me smile which many on here often do
I can understand how you feel Leo, but how did you feel about previous appointments? It was Aidy who? It was Brendan who? Malky had mixed reactions.... maybe we have 'fallen', maybe we have found our rightful place of having to try the untested because 'glamour' names want money to work with. I see very few names out there that I consider good for Watford. Dyche might not be the best, he might not be my first choice but we have a good base to work with, and he knows that base. I'd rather a Dyche than a Vialli or Bassett!
Cheer up Leo, I was seriously worried about some of the names being touted around. There were one or two there who would have given me sleepless nights. At my age sleep is not difficult after a glass or two and I dislike external events disturbing my routines. I have seen more than twenty managers come and go, yet only two of them really upset me when they departed. Both of them were not that experienced when they came to us and turned out fine. I have just got to the point where my hope is that whoever is appointed will turn out to be a gem and until they have had a go we don't know what we will get.
Cmon Leo Cheer up mate , chin up! especially if Tommy Mooney becomes no 2 ,could be quite a good team! TM was a crap commentater on the radio any way
I am not sure what his commitments are at present. He lives in Spain I think and does some coaching in the midlands, but I don't know if he would want to be in the UK all of the time.
