    One of the few reliable NUFC "in the knows" says:

    Bit of news !! Jus spoken to porter who does bot knw much bout footy 2players checked intoday 1 called bernasey but think he means bernetta!

    Just to clarify i wud rather find out for maself tomoro wen at wk!

    In English:
    Bit of news! Just spoken to the porter at work, who doesn't know much about footballers but two checked in today, one called Bernasey, but I think he means Barnetta! Just to clarify I'd rather find out for myself tomorrow when I'm at work

    Nah this lad actually is reliable. He works at the place NUFC put their players when they're in talks in Jesmond I think

    I hope it isn't Barnetta, he is far too slow to be a winger aswell as not being blessed with the best skill would rather we got Matuidi tbh.

    Also, it's worth pointing out he hasn't personally confirmed it and it could be someone else. I imagine he'll say something a little more concrete tomorrow

    Barnetta would be a very good versatile player to have in the squad, his natural position is RM, sure he hasn't got the pace but his technical ability & his shooting ability more than make up for it, plus he can cover CM/DM and LM at a push. Always handy to have someone like that in the squad.. a 100x Richer man's Perch-esque midfielder. Snap him up IMO!

    Coozy is a good guy. One of the fans. He doesn't bullshit around or pretend to have insider news on transfers. He just works at the hotel where players usually stay, and he feeds us info if he has any.

    Also, he's never said that Barnetta was in the hotel.

    He seems like an alright un-**** stirring guy - but how does Bernasey suggest Barnetta, unless the club don't want to release that he is in the area. So that Comolli doesn't come stalking
