In some ways I would say Shankly for us because of what he actually did rather than what he necessarily won. Fergie obviously rates highly at the moment and my respect for his skills is more about what he did in terms of rebuilding sides. No doubt that idiot will some how try to use the whole fergie story in him being one game away from being sacked proves that he must be the best so he was given the time or some other nonsense. He really needs to read and learn about circular logic.
