Donga gets a feeling in his gut every match day, and lets us know about it Have City lost or drew yet?
It's hard to define gut feelings since we will all have different interpretations of what a gut feeling is, but yes, I get this sense only for negative feelings. I cannot recall an occasion that I had a "oh, I have a strange feeling that x/y/z is going to go my way". In the context of this thread I will get a gut feeling "this Liverpool performance has a loss written all over it", which will have been shaped from my emotions at the time, as well as experiences watching other performances. Like I said above, for every "I knew it, I could feel it" there is a "I had a gut feeling we would lose but we weathered the storm, I am pleasantly surprised". Making gut-feelings essentially a guess.
Feelings... .... nothing more than feelings, trying to forget my... feelings of love. Teardrops... ... rolling down on my face, trying to forget my feelings of love. Feelings, for all my life I'll feel it. I wish I've never met you, girl; you'll never come again. Feelings.... ..... wohohahahahohohoho feelings, wohohahahahohohoho , feel you again in my arms.
Prefer the punked up version...........f**k,wrong thread
You obviously haven't talked to a gastroenterologist if you think that the gut does not have an ability to 'think' for itself! As far as I am aware there is no clinical definition of the expression "feeling in my gut" so your attempts to place a limited definition is either misplaced or arrogant
There's plenty of explanation of what constitutes gut feeling or intuition, try reading some of it Dave, maybe before labelling someone arrogant for trying to pass it on, might have been a better call like.....
Tones, you think Everton will basically roll over on the weekend? What if Arsenal only manage a draw against West From and Iam adamant their final game away to Norwich they will lose.
I think the manager and players will approach the game like any other mate, but the majority of the crowd won't be arsed to see us lose as your scenario simply won't happen
If you weren't so rude and insistent that you must be right then you would know that there is no universally agreed definition for feelings or its close neighbour intuition. So come on then give me those definitions that I have so sadly missed and identify by whom and where those definitions are lodged.
Smash is awesome. I liked Ignition, Ixnay on the Hombre and Americana albums in the whole as well, just a couple of **** songs scattered on them Conspiracy of One was pretty good as well
Not sure how I was being 'rude' when all I did was make a sensible reply to your post. You then retorted with an insult, again I replied civilly and I have not insisted anything, nor have I said there was a definitive definition. I said there was plenty of expert explanation out there, which there is, try reading them.
we'll win if we score first and will win well. then the title will go to last day... no matter what city do in the interim
