An utterly crap defensive performance, if we start next season with Belkelem and Diakite I will want a refund!!! There's no way Deeney will want to stay in this hideously mediocre side
Flippin' heck - I go away for 10 minutes and come back to find the world upside down. I sense some major changes coming over the summer...
Could be Riera's last moment with us. Grim, I am not sure if I want B.S. here next season now. However, I see a major re-shuffle coming on from the owners.
Yet another dreadful away performance. Difficult to see why. No leaders on the pitch. Hoban goes on a run, crosses and it goes in off Anya's arm. No goal.
The sooner this finishes the better. Watford team look like a rabble now. When Deeney scored we were on the up, but it has all gone wrong.
A poor end to a poor season, the only ray of light is the new stand being built. But, we do seem to be the dustbin for every end of the line Udinese player and it's completely pissing me off! Fair play to the hardy band of Watford fans who spent 3-4 hours getting to the match only to see a sh#te performance. Eddie Howe please !
Watford manager Giuseppe Sannino: "I'm not happy, so on Wednesday all the squad will be at the training ground because we are professional. We have to work hard to prepare for Saturday. "The players' contracts run until the end of June so we will keep working after Saturday. We need to build a team for next season with a different DNA." What does he mean by that? Either way, 3 losses on the bounce hurt. Can't wait to see Deeney's goal though.
Poor poor performance which demonstrates just how thin our squad is, loose a few players and we are left with dross - mind you even Doyley was poor last night. Just take a look at overall squad, why bring is people like that QPR player who is rubbish or the likes of Lucas Neil and then loan them out to other clubs. Looks like whoever is managing this is like a kid in a sweetshop...utter crap.
I agree W_Y. Why did we sign Samba Diakite or Park Chu-Young? One was dangerous to the team because he is mad and the other was never fit to play. Lucas Neill is another, why? Albert Riera is another but is he what we need with a very short contract and having Daniel Tőzsér for only four months could be questioned, even with his and Albert Rieras superior ability.
We looked dangerous and lively for about 10 minutes around Deeney's goal but generally were pretty ropey and looked very unconvincing apart from Hoban in defence against a side that doesn't get many goals. TBH I wasn't really surprised and we need a lot of squad re-building over the summer with permanent signings suited to this league.

Frankly I am not surprised by last night's result or performance - after QPR & Derby we had little to play for - BS will have made his mind up by now who should stay and who should go (of course if BS stays that is - which I doubt!). Charlton were fighting for their lives and the match was infinitely more important to them than us. When we look back on this game (if we ever do) it will be as an unimportant, meaningless end of season game to complete our fixtures. The damage was done much earlier in the season and never rectified. We have been deluding ourselves that we were good enough for the play-offs when the playing record showed otherwise.
