strange looking at those photos, it feels like a big chunk of my youth is being carted away, but god if concrete could talk that pile wouid have some stories to tell.
Chatting to a friend on Saturdays game who told me I refused to go into the Eastend when they made it all seater and I can safely say I've been true to my word, I've not been there since. Think that's why some call me stubborn Also I do realise that people stand in there, before someone points that bit out to me.

Seeing those seats being taken away makes me happy not sad.. it was never meant to have seats.. I grew up on there with the ability to move around.
We can't live in the past much though we'd like to and the club needs to modernise (God knows it's long overdue!). The East End has very happy memories for me from my first taste in the late 1960's and ever since but it lost something when seats went in.
My first season in the Eastend was the 2009/2010 season, and whilst I loved going down to AG, that stand made me fall in love with Bristol City all over gain. Great set of supporters and it doesn't matter who you are when you walk in, everyone is a eastender..... I'll miss it Will have to mingle with you muggles for the next season.
