Talking of hammering new series, I've watched the first series, and I'm now half way through the second, of The Wire. Great show. Have to say, I'm surprised Dee (D'angelo) lasted as long as he did (he's just been 'offed' in gaol). Also, loving the work of Omar, the gay gunman.

Season 3 is brilliant.

 

Can't wait. Second series is not as good as the first, so far, but that's often the way in series, isn't it? Still, I'm enjoying it, regardless.

 

Just wait it out, plenty mo comin'.

Is it a remake? I've seen episode 1 and it doesn't seem linked other than the area that it's in. I'm a bit confused about this programme.

Its not really a remake at all. Its a 3 part series based on the film with a new storyline( if that makes sense ) If you like dark comedy you will like this, good cast too.
