Seems like he's striking the right balance between ambition and realism. Have to say, from all the things the board members are saying, although they wisely aren't making any promises, you get the impression they would be really surprised if Pochettino didn't stay, which must tell you something.
I'd be perfectly happy to never go back to stripes, but it'd probably be better than this season's kit. If he reads Not606 (and he bloody well should) then he'll know that a remake of the "Rank Xerox" shirt is the best compromise.
This is really a wonderful Q and A. Feeling dead positive about summer now. Bring it on. For all the North-Americanisms, Krugerrand seems like a really genuine, good old fart. A good old fart who I'm sure could beat this **** out of me if he felt like it.
As Joe suggests, the Rank Xerox kit would be an excellent compromise, and would satisfy older fans and new. I'd love to see it. Edit: just seen your comment TSS
Not sure. Don't want stripes back, but if we HAVE to I prefer wide stripes rather than colour blocking.
I think this has already been posted, but here is that kit updated to have all the PL regalia, with the AAP3 logo: please log in to view this image
For these times, I'd lose the collar and just retain a v-neck and thin black trim. I'd also lose the same on the cuffs and go with a simple black trim. Black shorts, with maybe a thin red/white stripe and white socks. Simple, smart, and perfect for the best players in the league to wear.
