Not as bad as I thought but wed have missed the playoffs and the fans would have been onto him, it was a job saver for sure.

Cant argue with much of that team, bit dubious on Shackell, Cresswell and Reid, but that would be it.

Special nod to Bryson and Drinkwater, fantastic midfielders.

Confident our Charlie would have been in there bar his injury.

Nope played a bit however have you ?

    Drinkwater very good year
Foxes and Burnley outstanding results but QPR have played the best football this year by a mile and we haven't had a team all year
Drinkwater and others apart from Rangers players won't cut it in Premiership team I have picked players who will step up

Upson, Boyce and Nugent to step up yet Drinkwater won't or can't? ... the first 3 have all been there and, to differing extents, been found wanting ... Drinkwater is a young player not yet at his peak but has been imperious this season - by any kind of footballing logic I think he will eclipse the other 3 (although I'm hoping that Nuge will have a something of a twilight swansong to his career)

QPR have played the best football? ... wow ... but just out of interest, how many times did you watch the other teams? ... what I can tell you is that nobody in the current top 6 has beaten us this season ... now if one of those has been playing better football than us we have been incredibly lucky <laugh> ...

Talking about excellent players not teams the table doesn't lie

I have picked players that have shone IMO above the others

QPR have dominated the most matches by the largest stats yet goals win matches and three teams have done better than us and credit to them

Football however IMO is not just about results when these teams of the year are made up

You can just mix in favourites and not I have not picked one QPR player also as they have all under achieved

    Player of the championship

    Trippier of Burnley
    Lad from Forest 2nd
    Hughes Derby third

Managers from the top clubs will look at players and Drinkwater won't be going anywhere yet

Very hard to argue with the Op team lads.

The only players who ever really stood a chance for us were Austin and.........????

    You're off your head mate.

"QPR have dominated the most matches by the largest stats".

    What stats do you mean?

Ask Joey Barton. He plastered them all over his Facebook page last week.

We're easily the best at five yard square passes in the centre circle.

Unfortunately we're worse than average at putting the bastard ball in the goal which is the point of the sport. 57 goals from 45 games is mediocre.

I am off my head mate

The three older players I have picked have been outstanding this year yes they have been there but are still hot property and have proved again their worth

Maybe you should change your team to best young players ? Then maybe Drinkwater gets in ... He was close to my pick but he went missing in a lot of games early on he finished very strong
Upson ? The man is Brighton and has pulled them to the point of the play offs

Nugent without him you know only too well where you would be and it not just about his goals A lot of clubs like this player he is again proven and I can see a bigger club taking him again

The Wigan boys mentioned are real quality and they have shown that on a European stage and against the very best in football at the moment

You are right about Drinkwater he is going nowhere ... Yet

Foxes and Burnley outstanding team performances but strip the components down? ... To play in other teams?

Your Goalie is very close but I picked Heaton

That Martin from Derby is quality

Nuge has 'gone missing' far more often than Drinkwater this season ... and if a 'bigger team' than us comes in for him I'll eat my shorts ...

'Upson is Brighton' ... they may well miss the play-offs ... if so, then no more relevant than 'Grabban is Bournemouth'

The 3 older players have had good seasons in the Championship ... there is usually a good reason that older players find themselves in the Championship ... and that is my concern for Nugent - his conversion rate (ignoring penalties) is pretty abject ... and he will get less chances in the Prem against better defenders ... similarly Upson and Boyce are now likely to get ripped to shreds in the Prem (much like Dunne in the Championship <whistle> ...

I suspect you might just be the author of 'The Lonely Planet' <laugh>

They've only put him in to appear inclusive. You'll never be accused of racial prejudice if you have a Plains Indian in your selection.

His mates Sitting Bull, Running Dear and Soaring Eagle all missed out though
